anyone who says he is overweight must be insane, unless you mean it in a literal sense that he is carrying too much muscle to function effectively like i think Ronaldo alluded to. The year in the championship when he came back from his first injury, he was very overweight, and i think he basically just converted it all to muscle rather than trim the fat away. its ok waiting and seeing with regards to a new forward, but when the main reason we are getting one in for the short term is Ba being away, we'd need the body in very sharpish...if we wait til Jan 31st, we'd only be without Ba for another week or so... Erdinc looks a good option, but do you think we will never end up with Ben Arfa behind Ba as a front 2? HBA has to play in my view, and playing just off Ba could really improve both their games.

Don't think he is, £20-25k tops. Can see him leaving this window though, he said something about wanting to play more a while back. added to this, he is settled in the area having spent alot of time in Scotland, if he was going to play 20 games a season (which he wont) til the end of his career, he'd probably take that. I really like him as a person, but yeah, he isnt good enough...

Best isnt thick like, i see it with Obertan who just reminds me of like lads at school who are skillful but make weird decisions a la Walcott, but Best? he seems fairly well screwed on to me...also sure ive heard somewhere that he is a bit of a "student of the game" in that he really tries to learn about his position and constantly improve. Wish he'd sit down and learn to stay onside then. fairplay this is a complaint, but that is just one area of the position, i dont want to cain any one player but Obertan makes completely wrong decisions in a totally different positions where Best is just getting his timing wrong...i think its a bit harsh on Best mind...
