Definitely not the prime game for us this tournament, but will get fucked up regardless. Repped the Johannsson 7 today at Wrigley, no one knows who he is, will continue unless he ever gets healthy.
You would think he would've gotten a nice condo somewhere, there's more than enough real estate in Houston, apparently not though. Either way, sounds like had issues with the ownership, which isn't very surprising, I don't think you can blame him much.
It's been long enough between games for me to forget how baffling Jurgen's tactics are. He really is just a German Pardew.
Also, hate Johnson at fullback, hate Bradley playing furthest forward while Beckerman sits deep. Just move Bradley back, put Nagbe in his spot, have a better team.
I got the semi-final and Argentina through stubhub, wasn't much difference from the official site, saved around $10 per ticket. The other two games someone else bought, pretty sure they used stubhub too though. It's definitely cheaper from what I've seen, but nothing huge.
Robbie Keane was taking the piss in MLS while at the same time being totally ineffective for Ireland against any even half decent opposition tbf
Not really comparable, Keane has the best midfield in the league behind him consistently. Giovinco had been involved in every Toronto goal this season up until last weekend, he's by far the best player the league has seen on form. Not saying just because a fringe player hits incredible form in a lower league he should be in the squad no matter what, but with his pace and confidence at the moment he'd be really useful for Italy off the bench when they need a spark.
In all fairness, Pirlo is 37 and Giovinco was always a fringe player. Still seems really stupid ignoring Giovinco's form over the last two years even if it's MLS, have fun crashing out this summer with that squad.
