How much do you reckon we'll sell him for? The difference from this year and the next couple of years would probably be £1-2m. Nothing. It's more about getting him off the wage bill I reckon. We wouldn't sell him in two years. Contract talks had stopped, so he would more than likely leave on a few in two years, or for even cheaper in a year.

I honestly have very little fears about this deal. As long as there is not a mass exodous after it, ie Jonas leaving, as Jose and Joey are pretty much off already. He's been great for us, but he's 28 and we're not going to be able to make money off of him in the future. This is just the business we have to go used to with the club going forward.

I'm just going to ignore this saga (as I do with most) until he signs or leaves. Stupid to read much into quotes as the club our clearly trying to ease the tension among fans when he finally does leave.

Genuine question - what is Wondolowski good at? I haven't seen much of him at all, but everything I've seen has been a bit pants. Not much. He's almost 30 and finally started scoring in the MLS last season. He should be nowhere near the national team.
