  1. No point playing with wing backs if they both kill attacks so often
  2. I know I don't hate Ritchie, but every time I watch him play football now I hate him

    Sunderland

They've been at this point a few times this season and failed to take advantage

Always thought he'd carve out a decent career at the bottom of Premier League/top of the Championship, but the last few months he's proven he can achieve more. Especially considering what's going on in his personal life and his desire to move, his second half yesterday was incredible. Will actually be sad to see him go, but he deserves it.
  5. Beating Everton like that after so many horrible performances over the years
  6. Would absolutely play, despite being incredibly out of shape Not sure what days/day I'll be up there but if it manages to get scheduled on the 4th I'll be good to go
  7. For anyone who knows more about how football on TV and Premier League/Champions League scheduling rules than me. The Sky announcement from February for April matches https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11661/11644173/live-sky-sports-premier-league-fixtures-announced-for-apri has the Liverpool/Huddersfield match moved to Friday with it possibly changing again due to CL participation. The Premier League or Liverpool site don't mention this at all. The CL fixtures during that time aren't until the midweek after, so if LFC were even in the semis moving this game would just mean moving it closer to the CL match. Is there a reason for this, or should I just expect the Huddersfield match to be played on Friday like currently scheduled?
  8. Tbf he shouldn't be jumping with his back to the ball like that, his arm's always going to be slightly extended in that case. Still, wasn't unnatural
  9. Good they've eternally benches Areola
  10. Schar-esque goal for Southhampton
  11. Tbf he's not exactly good looking. Him and Almiron are a far cry from out season in the 5th

Heard the commentator mention this on Tuesday. Kind of cool: [ftp=ftp://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2013/nov/25/fabian-schar-basel-chelsea-champions-league]https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2013/nov/25/fabian-schar-basel-chelsea-champions-league[/ftp]

There's a huge difference between winning the Championship and fighting for automatic promotion in League One with some of your stadium closed. There's an argument to be had about winning one level below vs struggling in the top flight, but we've just taken 13 from 18, hardly grim

Pretty sure there was an article in the Chronicle post-Spain that basically said he was brought in for cover and likely won't play.
