Jumping on the bandwagon? Being an avid supporter since 92/93, I take your utterance as an insult. I'm not from England, but that doesn't make me shitty supporter. Jumping on the bandwagon often refers to people who starts to support a team because of success. And one thing NUFC has not experienced during my years, is success. I although agree that there are enough people who jumps on the Man-U bandwagon. Norway is stint with those fuckers. It's easy to be a supporter when you win minimum one trophy a year. Supporters' character is defined when the going gets tough: then you'll see that a shitload of man u players will jump off the bandwagon. But f***, that doesn't apply to me. I started a topic a while back about this sort of thing as I was basically accused of being a plastic Geordie blah blah blah and I had often been asked 'Why I support Newcastle because im from the south' and to be honest I dont wanna hear that almost fascist shit. I must admit I have always been sceptical of the medical team because we always seemed Blighted by injuries. Maybe the fact that When Andy Carroll was with us they said heMAYhave been ready for our next game when in fact it has been another 4 /5 weeks. Bit harsh calling the med team incompetent though.

I agree with you 100% Maybe Man U realise that they are one unit as opposed to, say, when it was the Rooney/Ronaldo show. I know Rooney has been under pressure but him scoring will be key for them.

We bought Colo, Gutierrez, Bassong and Xisco that season as well if I'm not mistaken. We did spend money but it was put in the wrong hands with Dennis Wise. That relationship was the big downfall IMO. ARGUABLY 3 out of those 4 signings have not turned out TOO bad.

I think it will be VERY difficult for Ashley not to hand the money over and Let Pardew spend. I just hope that Mike and co do what (arguably) they are best at and get the right deal (e.g HBA, Tiote).

I always thought he was alright for us (Not good but alright). I for one am happy he has got a medal after today, thought he put in some excellent crosses and he is still quite nippy for an old man.

Did'nt he make a similar challenge against Accrington Stanley but got away with it? You would have thought he would have really grabbed his opportunity of a rare start to give some quality competition but he has fucked it now (for 3 games anyway) its a shame that by the time he gets back we will have Messrs Ben Arfa, gosling and guthrie available.
