  1. Transfered him in on Pro Evo during the last window, he was crap to be honest.

    Remy Cabella

Really good player. Pardew wouldn't know what to do with the lad even if Ashley was prepared to pay the money.
  3. Difficult question, who was better. A very close call but I'd say Ferdinand. I just loved watching him play. Cole was brilliant also, but Ferdinand edges it.
  4. After reading the minutes and the statement that they feel the squad is strong enough ... yeah. Just don't want to be bothered with hoping. During previous transfer windows my F5 button gets mashed to bits due to my desire for info. This time round I couldn't care less. If we were in the bottom five I think we'd bring Gomis in, but we're not so I can't see anything happening. And the thought of shelling out £14m on a midfielder is frankly laughable.
  5. On the videos i've seen the germans use seats that lock in the the up position, with a rail on every row. It's no longer a case of a person is allocated a specific seat / place because there are no specific places. But they can fit maybe 50% extra people on each row so the capacity is increased.
  6. Its great. Two decades of getting their own way, they really don't like it up em SSN did a bit earlier where they showed Evans and Cleverleys fouls from last night, and Moyes reaction. He's lost the plot like!
  7. I should mention my atheist mate is also a really good footballer.
  8. I find that most people i know who were raised catholic fall into two categories. 1) those who still consider themselves a left footer but can't really be arsed with it anymore and 2) those who are absolutely, 100%, violently opposed to catholicism and in fact every other religion. The latter in my opinion are equally as tiresome as the god botherers who knock on your or harass you in the street. There's a lad i work with who falls into category 2. Catholic school educated like me he has long since turned his back on organised religion, i love winding the bloke up. I honestly think his head will explode one day when he's forcibly trying to make me see the error of my ways because god doesn't really exist. Little does he know i give less of a fuck than anyone.
  9. I'm all for a winter break tbh. As long as it comes right after the christmas fixtures. Trouble is it would mean decreasing the number of teams in the league and less teams = less fixtures = less cash. So i don't see it happening, unless they start the season in July.
  10. If just England pulled out the premier league would still have to stop because half the players would be away, certainly all the best ones. Like i was getting at above though, it's two fingers up to FIFA and if any other countrys want to follow suit so much the better. People seem to have forgotton that Qatar was handed the world cup because they claimed they could cool the stadia, which was obviously bullshit from the start. But Qatars bribe was clearly the biggest so let them get on with it.
  11. We struggle to qualify the best of times, in 5/6 years god knows what Captain Cleverley and his mates will do for England Manager Alan Pardew Win / win then eh? It wouldn't help the premier league as all the best players would still be missing in January but who cares. Maybe one or two other countries would follow Englands lead, but who cares about that either tbh.
  12. I've said it before like but England should sit the Qatar world cup out. Tell FIFA not to bother puuting them in the draw for qualifying.
  13. Probably something along the lines of i'm having a winter break one way or another.
  14. With Haidaras recent sub appearances, Santon to RB Haidara LB would be the obvious move.
  15. This. WBA were there for the taking but our man is clueless. He can set a side up to defend against a top 6 opponent, hitting them on the break. But when it comes to actually playing football Pardew is bereft of ideas.
  16. Stupid tackle but at least he gets a break. Could have done with it being Goufy instead though.
  17. Weren't they after Obertan, or was that Swansea? Either way they can have him for free.
  18. If Shola's on the pitch at the start of the second half i'll be amazed. What am i saying? Of course i won't be amazed.
  19. Did they really play decent football? I can't remember that bit. I remember trying to bully sides in europe and being humped, as much by the referees as the opposition. That's when Sams reputation went down the shitter for me. It proved he was totally clueless. To some extent, yeah they did. Anelka was probably a major factor in that, as once he started to play well they started to keep the ball on the deck more and play around him, and they had decent footballers in Djouf, that bald Greek fella, Speed, and a few others who I can't remember. Only saw a handful of their games mind. Fair does, i probably overlooked it due to my severe dislike of Allerdyce.
  20. You'll get better odds on Ryan Taylor scoring than Shola.

  22. I'm changing my prediction, would happily take a draw now.
  23. Way back then i'd have taken O'Neill in a heartbeat. Fat sam though? I can honestly say i was gutted the day he took over.
