I think in part it stems from people being at the match just so they can say "they were there" too. It's deffo caught on more in recent years, not just with us, but with this sort of high and mighty "look at me, I'm at every match me, what a superfan" posted all over twitter and wherever else for the likes, this sort of bravado that everyone must know I'm at the match. In truth they're not really that bothered about contributing to the atmosphere or anything, they're there and have shown off to their followers so anything else is extra. See it all the time on their social media "mad one away day following Newcastle" and it's just them pissed up on a bus at 8am in the morning, coked out of their head by 1pm, barely conscious by 3pm, but they've looked cool on their socials, match itself means nothing to them. Obviously atmosphere wasn't great before the social media revolution so it's not all down to that, but it's getting worse now with all the tik tok lot and the likes.

Even if Liverpool do drop points now, it's wasted as Arsenal haven't taken advantage. There's no chance Chelsea are keeping pace, could only really see Arsenal but they'll be 8pts behind if/when Liverpool win their game in hand. Even more of a nightmare when Salah scores in the 102nd minute to win it

This generation of fans are going to remember Liverpool as we did Man Utd in the 90s, maybe not as much domination as in league titles, but the ref bias and ridiculous amounts of added time. City have dominated but it never felt as bias as Liverpool in terms of decisions and added time. It's a joke.
-
The fuck are Arsenal doing man, just realised they're not fucking winning either, absolutely typical this
-
Looks like mackems are going to keep pace, only 2 it's behind Leeds- Sheff Utd should pull away but Leeds are just as inconsistent as the mackems
-
Aye, was going to say, bit early to be writing Liverpool off, they've been losing loads this season and still ending up winning, we saw what they did to us when they only had 10 men last season too. They'll win 2-1
-
City/United on Sunday is going to be insane, both trying to outshit each other, literally anything could happen
-
Feels like so much more than just a mid season wobble this like, they've never had one like this. Not just the losing but the way they're losing, they're not even in games. Thankfully they've got pretty much the easiest home match you could ask for on Sunday so they'll get a morale boosting few goal win.
-
Feels like Sheff Utd and Leeds could pull away if they get a bit of momentum, after that it's a lottery, mackems and Burnley just seem to draw every week and teams below them just keep losing
-
Leeds and Burnley both drawing again, as shit as this lot have been the last couple months even if they lose tonight they're still only 3pts off top.
-
Would literally rather anyone than Liverpool, Chelsea not ideal but they're not Liverpool so they'll do
-
Looks like it's all aboard the Chelsea train then to save us from Liverpool
-
Christ, bottom 3 are so poor this season we could lose every game between now and the end of the season and still stay up, keep thinking Wolves might be ok but to be below Ipswich is embarrassing as fuck the way they are
-
Looking like a great weekend for Liverpool, tough 12.30 game gets nicely called off, City draw, Arsenal losing, Spurs playing a decent team so will probably end up beating them in Chelsea.
-
4-3 incoming
-
Embarrassing defending by Forest, almost as bad as ours
-
39,000 just announced Absolutely no chance
-
Dreadful game this, appreciate the weather is as it is, but that's not why these two sides are playing awful, they're just shite. Stoke are really poor, Mackems slightly better but both teams just look like mid table fodder
-
Leeds/Derby on Sky at 12.30 could be a decent alternative watch instead mind.
-
Utter woke nonsense. Shame for a few reasons that too, Everton just won 4 nil, feeling good, Liverpool dropped points in midweek and lost there last season. Would have been a real chance for Everton to get something. Sure that played no part in the cancellation of course, just saying. Be interesting to see if other games in the area are on.

Depressing on so many fronts this, never felt confident we'd even get a draw at 2-1 up. Liverpool winning games like this shows they're going to win the league, probably at a canter, can't be arsed with it like
