Just got an email from the club advertising being able to watch the game in Shearers, £5 a ticket. What's interesting though is they say open from 11am, were the game to be kicking off at 8pm, and I'm sure the club would be aware of this by now, I very much doubt they'd be advertising this being open at 11am...might be nothing in it but does suggest to me it'll be the usual 3pm or 4.30pm kick off.

Leeds battering Watford, scored 13 goals in their last 3 games so far, looks like they've clicked. Have the mackems at home in a couple weeks, as long as they don't lose that they'll be out of reach of Sunderland you'd imagine so leaves the one automatic space to fight for for the Mackems.

From the outside, it didn't appear Ashley was doing that bad as job with us to the neutral fan. From promotion in 2010, we were constantly in the Prem, had a run in the Europa League, made a quarter final of the League Cup, good record against Liverpool and Chelsea at at SJP (generally). Finances in check. We knew it was bollocks obv but can see why an outsider would think that. Just saying, we better than anyone should understand we can't judge anothers fans reactions in relation to their owner/manager. Spurs were as close to breaking the cartel as anyone, arguably should have won the league in 2016 when Leicester won it, since then they've regressed massively, from thr outside not backing Poch seemed to start it all so can see why Spurs fans are as they are.

Even with the Mancs in the 90s it was never this obvious

9 minutes not even trying to hide it anymore

This is the problem playing lower league players, they're nowhere as good technically as ours and it results in a lot of dreadful tackles from them; risking injuries to us
-
This is the HD channel it's fine still, and the acore and time is clear, just the picture on the pitch is dreadful
-
Virgin Media picture on BBC1 is a disgrace, was the same for Orient City earlier too, like the frame isn't moving with the movement, awful

Watching at home this time round, went last time and didn't enjoy it (not just because we lost) I find Wembley horrific, bars all around it absolutely chocka, like uncomfortably busy. Went in the ground early, still horrendous and the bar staff are useless, I get they're being paid minimum wage and aren't arsed but it's so shit. Getting away after is awful too, went there a lot with my mate who supports Spurs when they were there and it was shit. Even with 60k attendances and waiting for it to die down a bit. Will have a couple mates round though so we'll make a good day of it, and hopefully end up celebrating out in town after.

Other than Leeds away mackems remaining fixtures are very favourable. Can't see them fucking up this year, will only not come up if Leeds and Sheff U both have a Man City style run to the end of the season from couple years ago.

Embarrassing that they still do that proper small lower league shite of "You're shit ahhhhhh" everytime the opposing keeper takes a goal kick. Can always tell a small club and small club mentality when they do that, them, Leicester, Ipswich and Southampton all been guilty of it this season. Mackems will probably do it when they come back up too considering how long they've been out the top flight.

Aye, was looking down at the touchline and there were loads of people asking the stewards to take some pictures of them and their mates posing for pictures, scarves held up, wide smile etc. Appreciate i might be sounding like a right old, miserable bastard here, but come on man, right after we've lost the last thing I'm thinking is "oh shit, let's all get a cracking picture together inside the stadium with our half and half scarves, what an experience". Fucking hate modern football man.

Like I say, at least the boo and hurling abuse shows they care somewhat, misdirected and stupid way to show it of course, but better than people bouncing out of SJP after a shit performance and result as if their lottery numbers have just come up.

Dreadful today. Obviously the performance didn't help, but it was shite from the start. I decided to do a lot more observing today, I was in Leazes Level 4, first time there. I have come to the conclusion loads of our fans are there because they feel they should be, but they're not bothered about the match at all. Like whatever happens on the pitch doesn't matter, the fact they're "there" is enough. Within 10 minutes of kick off people were off to the toilet/whatever else they were doing, just pottering around. Everyone laughing and joking, we were playing shite and losing 2-1 and people were streaming out, but not before some high fives, hugs, laughing, felt like I was at a Christmas party, everyone was buzzing. I'm not saying I'm a superfan or anything, but Newcastle losing depresses me more than it should, it's ruined my weekend, and I'm certainly not in the mood to be having a laugh lie nothings happened. Appreciate maybe not everyone is like that, and I'm not saying everyone should be calling the samaritans the moment the final whistle goes, but so many people just don't give a fuck. I genuinely don't understand why they go to the match, it's not just the young ones either that go jsut so they can show off they went, it's all ages, especially around me today, nobody cared and the result did not affect their mood one bit. Maybe I should be more like them and not be bothered, but it's definitely not conducive to a good atmosphere.

I didn't think it was a red at all like. However, it's a disgrace this has been overturned. Ref said red, VAR said red, PGMOL said it was a red on Sunday. The only reason this has been overturned is because it's a big club and, the kick off from pundits and social media. If this was Leicester for example, there's no way it's being overturned. He who shouts loudest. Pathetic.

Dreadful half, as bad as Palace/Brentford earlier, just two dull mid table teams cancelling each other out.
-
Fulham haven't been up to much so far like, nothing we should fear. Decent defense but not much more at the minute.
-
Even worse decision made up north in the Rangers game so it's not just here; this one was a lot worse as he even used VAR for about 3 minutes.
-
It's never a red card like we talk about Arsenal pundit bias and Arteta etc, and I csnt stand him either, but people in here saying its definitely a red card etc are being clouded by their dislike of Arsenal and everything that comes with them. If it was an Ipswich player sent off we'd all be saying what a joke it is. He catches him slightly above the ankle but it's just a poorly timed foul, you see them fouls in every single game and it's a yellow card.
