2-2 incoming if last seasons anything to go by, be 10 mins added on aswell, you know its coming
  2. Dewsbury-Hall looks about 45 with that tash dreadful. Coventry should be kicking themselves here like, if they weren't so shit in front of goal they'd have won this fairly comfortably
  3. I would compare my main concerns to what happened to Sunderland last night. Whilst not comparing the situation in terms of the magnitude, but the knock on to the immediate future. They had to come up this year now they've got this far or they won't for a few years, the Championship will be far stronger next year, Leicester, Everton/Leeds and even Southampton coming down will be up there, there's no way WBA, Norwich and Watford are as bad next season, and that's before you take into account whoever misses out on the play off final, Luton and Boro are established as being up there must seasons now, and there'll be on or two other decent sides who wd haven't thought of yet, ala the Mackems this season. They'll be stuck there now. For us, whilst long term our future is incredibly bright, if we miss out on the Champions League this year I think it'll be a good few years until we get there again, now I know we're ahead of the project, and tbh finishing top 10 and a decent cup run was what I said I'd be happy with at the start of the season, so it's about perspective, but fucking hell man we're so close, I want to see us in the Champions League next season so bad, it'll be amazing. So if we do miss out, next season there's no way Liverpool and Chelsea will have as bad a season, Villa and Brighton are in it for the long term now, City are City, Arsenal, whilst maybe not going as close to the title again next season will be a shoe in for top 4, depending on what Spurs do they could be a lot better and Man Utd will only get better now they have a competent manager. We could easily finish 7th next season, which would necessarily be a failure but I'm just saying. Now obviously we could improve as well and hell we might just miss out this year and go one better next season, but my gut tells me we're not going to have a better chance, at least in the next 2/3 maybe 4 seasons to make Champions League so we need to take it.
  4. Sunderland are scoring here like, Luton going to need another
  5. If Sunderland get the next goal I think they'll win the tie, as rabid as the Luton fans have been they are quick to sigh when there's a misplaced pass, think there arses will drop if they concede
  6. Atmosphere is mental, Lutons fans seem like absolute lunatics, definitely got the potential to boil over this
  7. Aye sorry 6 points, still the point stands - a win and two draws won't be enough IMO
  8. Southampton away on the last day for Liverpool...no better chance to destroy that goal difference, we need 6 points
  9. We're going to need Liverpool to drop points for us to get top 4
  10. Think we'll draw with Brighton, beat Leicester and draw with Chelsea, so depends what Liverpool can do with the goal difference I guess
  11. We're not winning 2 more games this season playing like that, no chance
  12. You'd think it watching this game at times
  13. We have been fucking shite like, absolutely dreadful. Us and Man Utd just trying to out shit each other as we both limp over the line in the most uninspiring way possible. Thank fuck we've got a few points on Liverpool but they'll end up finishing 3rd the way things are going, awful
  14. This time last night I was very worried about the Leicester and Brighton home games, now after these results I'm back to fully confident we'll beat both of them comfortably I know there's been a lot of ridicule for myself and others for "bedwetting" but at the end of the day, none of us want us to lose, and the main reason the pessimism is there is because we finally care again and it's so hard to switch that mindset after all these years, we're actually decent now and tbh after 14 years it's hard fo accept that as weird as it sounds. I'm a pessimist in daily life as a fault, so it does carry over into football, but never misinterpret that as being a doom monger that enjoys being like that, I want to believe and hopefully over the next few years the club will make us all believe. Someone who said about that lyric from Cobain the other day "I miss the comfort in being sad" was bang on, this season has been amazing but for some people it's difficult to have such a 360 in terms of psyche; because it matters more now I fear it hurting a hell of a lot more because still expect heartbreak, but maybe it's not like that anymore. I've gone on a bit here after a beer or two so apologies but hopefully my point comes across. Here's to the good times
  15. Unbelievable, i still can't believe how many points Blackburn and Milwall have dropped over the last few weeks to allow this to happen, absolute shite. Having them back in the Prem next year is going to be grim
  16. Mackems are 100% winning these play offs if they get in like, only side with any sort of form, all the momentum with them
  17. Fuck sake man, absolutely typical, knew this would happen, Millwall and Blackburn have been shit for what feels like months, just knew they'd end up canceling each other out here
  18. Ah so it's Coventry that are going to fuck this up for us
  19. Need Millwall to win here as Mackems will end up winning
  20. Liverpool going to finish bloody 3rd at this rate
  21. Mate, Allardyce is shite, we all know that, but we also have seen first hand his shite football and set up can get the odd results, especially on one off games like this. It'll be a bear pit there and it's not easy, it would've been a hell of lot easier this time last week. We're obviously better than them and should beat them, but it's not a given
  22. I think calling top 4 over because we lost today is very reactionary yes, however looking at our next 4 fixtures I think people are right to be concerned. As I mentioned the other day, Leeds away is tough now with Allardyce, I know they're shite but he will have them bang up for it and he'd love to get one over on us, it's his first home game, atmosphere will be immense. It's a bloody tough game. Brighton and Leicester at home, I mean who knows, Brighton are a very good side, so are we but it's not a given we beat them, regardless of how well we play. Leicester at home will depend on how close they are to staying up I guess, not easy, and then Chelsea away is bloody tough regardless of how bad they've been, its not a given we go there and win. I've been worried with the results Liverpool have been getting, that's what's concerned me, fully expect them to win their last 3 so we need 7 points. Now we may well get 7 points from the above, I'm not saying we won't, but it's not a given and out of us, Liverpool anf Man Utd we 100% have the toughest run in. So its not bedwetting to be worried at all. We were poor today, though had some chances we need to be better moving forward in those 4 games. It would be an amazing season to finish 5th obviously, but from here it'd be gutting, wouldn't be a bottle job by any means but would be disappointing. We'll see, we could win thr next 4 and all this debate would've been worthless, I pray we do obviously but it's going to be tight.
  23. Leeds away is a horrible game to have next man, would've been fine before Allardyce but its got a honking 1 nil defeat written all over it
  24. Bruno having an awful game, christ, hopefully an Eddie masterclass at half time to sort us out, been dreadful all of them in the main
  25. Arsenal well up for this, we look really sloppy, game will be away from us if we're not careful here like
