Soon as you announce your gone thats it, unless its at a super successful club after a long time and jts like a farewell. For a club like Palace, once Glasner says hes leaving that's it, death warrant signed and he'll be gone by end of Feb at the latest
-
Fucking Sunderland man, they're goijg to end up unbeaten whole season at home, never lose for long in the games they have gone behind in, so frustrating they wont fuck off. Unreal how they've managed to make that shit tip a fortress
-
Hes not even offside man Pope isn't ahead of him
-
Ferguson blocking Fletchers number as we speak
-
Not won a single point this season from a losing position, unforgivable
-
Fletcher straight on the blower to Ferguson asking what to do now
-
Us and the Mackems competing for top 5, when was the last time that happened. Game in March could have similar stakes to that Spurs game a few years ago, hopefully the same result.
-
Nope they've equalised
-
League is so tight they could still finish 10th on current form
-
Annoying how good a side Sunderland are man, this is with several players out at the AFCON too. Be stunned if they dont finish top 10 at worst.
-
Mackems win this 2-1, even we beat City man
-
How do you enjoy a game? I can only ever really enjoy neutral games where im not bothered with the outcome. Even the cup final, I didnt enjoy the game, the goals were amazing and there were moments going mental, but it was nerve-wracking as fuck, can't really enjoy one of our games unless we're 3 nil up. How you can enjoy a game that we lose is beyond me. Not trying to make out some care more and all super fan it means more etc, but I wouldn't say I particularly enjoy watching us unless we're winning comfortably. Still watch and support the team obviously

They're getting battered but there's been no point during these last ten minutes where I've been confident Leeds will score. They're great in the build up but no composure in front of goal. Mackems will obviously nick it, its clear as day.
-
All Leeds at the minute. So 2-1 Sunderland incoming.
-
They're going to finish above most teams to be fair to them. Might be the season we finally retire the never seen a mackem in milan chant

Bring him home

I think this where some confuse entitlement with ambition to be honest. I dont think its unfair to think, after what we've achieved so far, that we should build on it and improve year on year. Not to diminish what we achieved but just because he won a cup doesn't mean we should suddenly accept mediocrity because before he came we were nowhere near. Good managers and good teams build on success, thus far I dont think we are .
-
Yeah? I don't think we should be counting 60 points as a yardstick for a resounding success. It's small time, we should be aiming for more. So far, and i accept its only December, this season has been very poor. We spent over 100 million in the summer and look worse for it. I dont see signs that we'll turn it around either.
-
I get that and im not necessarily saying it like that. However, I think its a pretty good comparison to use as both clubs were in a similar position before getting their new managers, and both have followed a similar trajectory. It's not like for like, but as a comparison I think its fair that we look at Villa. They'll slip off obviously, and they won't win the league, but it feels that year on year they're doing "better" than us in the long term.
-
This is the second off season though in 4 years, both coincidently when we're playing in Europe. Obviously under Ashely we'd have only dreamed of the "off seasons" but it adds credence to the theory that the manager can't handle the extra games.
-
Something that was obviously going to happen the whole window, no? Besides, even if we hadn't sold him, he wouldn't have been fit to play for the first couple of months anyway, so could've planned accordingly. Appreciate selling Isak was a big thing, but we can't use that as the reason we're currently sat 13th and excuse all the shit performances.
-
I think all the excuses people use to defend Howe, PSR, Champions League games, injuries, not adding to squad etc, are blown out by what Villa are achieving under the exact same circumstances. Not just this season as they're flying, but since Emery has come in they've got better and better, should have finished above us last year, and are now flying this season. No reason we shouldn't be where they are now, no excuses. It's not good enough, and he won't be here this time next season.

1-0 defeat, beginning of the end.

Ramsey there like the fat kid playing football at school, runs a little bit, too knackered and falls over, useless
-
Deserves credit in the bank for those corners we had before the goal.
