Main Event still focusing on the Liverpool game, they never do this fir the 2pm game man, especially when there's a big 4.30 game, fuck sake
-
They were never disallowing two Liverpool goals, did whatever they could to make that look onside, not having that boot
-
Thick as shit Sessegnon, that's this ending 2-2 sorted
-
Feel like this could go 180 minutes tonight and Liverpool wont score, it looks like they're on top but doesn't feel like Sunderland are going to concede
-
Mackems will win this tonight, Liverpool are shite, top 6
-
So after all said and done, the Brentford game is going to be our Brentford game moment then
-
Sheff Utd amazingly did it with pretty much the same players that came up from league 1 and the Championship with them mind, so was always going to be a ceiling. These lot have made loads of canny signings and seemingly have enough money to go again in the summer. Completely different situation, think these are here to stay (not necessarily top 8 again next season, but pushing to for top half certainly) for the foreseeable.
-
Even in our darkest days, and they were far darker than Spurs currently, our support was never this defeated. They can't even be arsed to give the players stick, just awful. Even if the owners believe Frank might turn it around, its over. They can't go on like this, it's depressing. Loudest noise from them was a few fans laughing when Semenyo fell over during his flip.
-
Great this, even moreso that it puts Spurs in a proper relegation battle now like if/when they lose tomorrow
-
Coventry absolutely fucking it up, second game in a row where they were 1 nil up and now 2-1 down,
-
If it wasn't for far too much blue on it it might be alright, but all that blue is awful
-
Then if we get into Europe the season after, season after that we're back here again...and rinse and repeat
-
Hmm to an extent, its a poor season based on the teams that would finish above us if we were 8th. However, and I know its not the exact same situation, but there's no way when Chelsea and City were taken over a manager would have survived finishing 8th, based on their ambition. Depends if Saudis have the same ambition.
-
I honestly think it depends on how serious the Saudis are about us, or if they move on to their next play thing. We'll do well to finish top 7 at best this season, if we finish below top 7 I think, based on everything that's a poor season Saudis have their fingers in so many pies, maybe they're not that arsed about finishing 8th for example, still money being made from tv coverage, and we've been champions league this season. He'll continue on. But if they are bothered, and see it as a poor season, they might pull the trigger in the hope of someone "better".
-
Aye I get that in terms of games played, but that's no excuse as with the money spent we should have a squad capable of coping with that. Not saying coping with that would mean being top of fhe league, but definitely able to look a lot better than teams like that
-
It's just really concerning that we've spent over 200 million and are no better than the likes of Brighton, Fulham, even fucking Sunderland And for anyone thinking that's reactionary, ask yourselves if we were ti play either of them next weekend, would you be confident we'd win? We've gone backwards this season, no doubt about it, which is unforgivable with the money at our disposal. Poor.
-
Should've been a free kick to Villa earlier tbf, Tonalis play acting took out Bailey, fucking idiot
-
Utter woke nonsense
-
Xhaka doing the home end next to away end fake tough man act offering the fan outside even though there's no chance you'll see each other again
-
Great goal that, Mackems should be level mind, not sure what he was doing heading that across goal. Need a second now, these fuckers always come back from a goal behind
-
Couple of wins for one side and couple of defeats for another those 6pts quickly become 12 mind, and so on, over the next month or so you'd expect that gap to widen as everyone takes "their place", it wont be this close in a month's time so we dont want to lose a couple and these to win a couple for example.
-
Hopefully they miss Xhaka today and West Ham can turn it on a bit, they'll be 4th with a win today, and with it being nearly February already itd take something massive for them to drop down dramatically. West Ham should be feeling good after that win at Spurs...
-
Bring him home
-
can assure you I definitely am not. A pessimist/doommonger/catastrophist/fanny, I'll accept but the reason im so frustrated is because I hate them and its pissing me off doing so well. "You daft cunt".
-
It's why our embarrasing mind the gap patter was...well just that embarrasing. In so many ways, but its so close one win takes them above us, and we fail to win tomorrow then that's that. At this point in time its looking like there wont be many teams that finish above them, let alone us.
