  1. Ginola's goal vs Ferencvaros man. The greatest goal I saw as a kid. Even now, it's still up there for me. I probably have Shearer's thunderbastard against Everton as the best ever NUFC goal above that Ginola one but I can only say that if I watch it with Alan Parry's Sky commentarry below "Sheareeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!".

    St James' Park

A new but 'traditional English stadium design with modern facilities' at Leazes Park is my next favoured option if the current site is not feasible for expansion. The current stadium can possibly be turned into a mini community park and leisure area. Let's face it, the state of the current park can be so much better and no one in this day of age would want to invest and maintain it if there was no payoff or benefits coming their way too. If say the owners can pledge investment into a newly modernised and sustainable green space with the city council at the current site of SJP while moving a few hundred yards up the road for a new stadium, it'll be a win-win for all. Matchday experience won't change much for the whole city. Atmosphere in the stadium will be down to how it is designed. Keep the traditional 4 stands as close to the pitch, exterior can even match how SJP looks now if you wish so, facilities insided can be upgraded and modernised. Just move it up the road a bit.

We have rich owners, who have a 'build from scratch' city in the fucking desert under their portfolio. What if, they are able to get the best construction companies and architects in the world, to design and build a stadium that would go against whatever shit atmosphere, soulles, shit exterior, bowl, spaceship design stadium out there, break those trends and give us a proper/old fashioned English stadium, keeping with the traditional designs and features but with modern facilities?
  4. We could do one with the Pardew 'invincible' sequence too, you know!
  5. @JonBez comesock did say things similar to that of what we've seen with that leaked green shirt that it will be green, not plain, but with some patterns on it. Not sure if that is the actual shirt but most likely it is. Need his confirmafion.
  6. Need to see players wearing it on the training pitch to get a better look. When are the lads due back for pre-season training? This off season is making me nuts!
  7. Was scrolling through the fixtures list and was looking for an 'easy' run after that horrific start that we have. Blimey. Don't think we can call any team an easy opponent this coming season. All teams look tough and have their own strengths. Even the newly promoted teams. Though I still couldn't find the dates for Sunderland (H) or (A) again. Been quite a while. 6 in a row?
  8. Aye. A great kickoff slot for the season opener. Last time we had the same slot was against Spurs, I think. A Ben Arfa penalty in a game more famous for Pardew's push on the linesman.
  9. Does the leak say when Sunderland (H) date is?
  10. What's that pattern on the green shirt?
  11. If wenare weaeing black socks, its a bit off not having the top of the socks the same design as the collar and cuffs of the shirt.

Need AI robot waiters at the canteen either at the stadium or the training ground looking like Steve Bruce.
  13. Fucking Spurs trying to stop Kane going to Real so they make their kit all white like Real.
  14. The images do look a bit AI-ey just like the Bruno picture. Plus, as said the overall graphic template is the same so I guess its almost certain that it ours is also true which would make it a wonderful kit.

Aye. I think this ticketting issue is a preview of whats to come. The owners will want to maximise whatever potential growth, investment and income that they can get out of the club in return to giving the football team whatever funds they can within the rules and limit. Thus, it's not beyond imagination that if there is any truth to us moving into a new stadium at Leazes Park for the potential growth and income, the owners will likely take it. Yes, SJP has heritage and history but if it can't be further improved and limits the club in a number of ways, basically the owners will do what they want. Again, I'd say moving to Leazes Park maybe the only acceptable location to some fans and then turning SJP into something better for the wider community. Yes, ideally, let's just stay at SJP but it remains to be seen how long will the owners be happy with either not redeveloping SJP or building a new stadium altogether.
  16. Would make Thomas Brolin proud that.

    St James' Park

Understood. So in the end, they would probably just spend whatever they can which ever one they want, extending the Gallowgate or build a new stadium somewhere else.

    St James' Park

You would think our owners, who are building a city from scratch in the fucking desert, would probably know more than some of us about the cost of expanding the Gallowgate or building a new stadium, perhaps in Leazes Park and not anywhere else. Thing is this. Expanding the Gallowgate would increase the capacity. Yes, there would probably also be some development on the land that was repurchased back and turn it into a fan-zone or something. But our owners are very ambitious people. Building a new stadium up the road, adds more seats (70k perhaps?), corporate boxes will be available, better and modern facilities compared to current SJP, potential to use the stadium for other sports and events like rugby and concerts, be host to major European finals and etc. The list of potential is endless. Of course, in an ideal world, I'd rather they just bulldoze SJP and get a new stadium at the same site but so many logistical issues may arise that just add to the costs. I would not want us to move but can understand why the owners would. what @Toonjam88 shared, Leazes Park sounds like an acceptable site to some fans perhaps should we move? Turn SJP into a park and etc?
  19. Looks more or less with the earlier one confirmed version. Interesting to see how the white socks with that beauty now. Hope it has black hoops at the top of it to match the sleeve cuffs.
  20. 1st game : Spurs (H) 2nd game : Luton (A) if their ground is ready Boxing Day : Man City (H) New Year's Day: Everton (A) Final day : West Ham (A)
  21. Any possiblity we meet them again in the CL?
  22. I'd love it if we went in for one of these Celtic Japanese players. Kyogo has looked good everytime I watch them.
  23. Is there anywhere you can watch the series apart from youtube? Could probably help me through the non-football summer watching that again.
