Maybe this has been expalined or discussed previously so forgive me for overlooking it but why are we not using the club font for the name and numbers and using the PL ones instead? I don't see any other opportunities for us to use it apart from maybe the Carabao or FA Cup, that is if we choose to do so or go further in those competition. Other clubs are using their own font in these pre-season games. Why aren't we?

We're signing some 2-3 Japanese players and paying for them in Yen. Saves a few quid with the currency difference and also them just hopping onto our plane back home. We're leaving Shola behind too to make for some space on the plane.

Hopefully we get some news soon about the club plans regarding the stadium. Man Utd targetting by end of the year to make their minds up about their own stadium plans, surely we also have some kind of time frame to atleast get plans discussed? How many versions of the away is out there? This one has the black fangs whixh looks so out of touch with the rest of the shirt. Should have had the grandad collar on it to save it from being a very poor effort.

How poor we were during that PSR deadline day has made my mind up that we have to leave SJP behind and build a new stadium. We have to avoid selling our best players to rivals in oreder to generate revenue. Having a stadium that generates income is one of the way to get the club to compete financially with others and I don't see a minor expansion to SJP can do that. Leazes Park or Castle Leazes are just about acceptable locations to replace the current site for me. Hopefully, who our owners are, and even with people.like Eales from his Atlanta days, we'll not get a typical modern stadium but get something really, really top class that the we have not seen yet on our shores. Better than even Spurs' hopefully.

Also, just like us, there obviously those in their fansbase who don't like the modern stadium or the looks of it etc2 but fans are accepting to move with the times, they had to out aside some hisotry and heritage regarding the stadium. Having a roof there seems to make the atmosphere better it seems. Wonder if we would ever consider that. Anyone think PIF may have ambitions like this for us?
