I know today is FA Cup day. But I woke up with a weird thinking today. Remember the 2nd round match we had against Wimbledon away was postponned because of the flood and it got switched to SJP? I honestly felt we could have been cup upset victims had it been played at the original venue and on its original date. Stars were realigned for us to play at SJP and get all the way to the final and upset the odds and beat the scousers. Hopefully. Just wanted to say this as this weirdly was the first thing I thought of waking up today.

Need to fucking start getting some steam and mommentum back. Could do with a win and a performance here.

Not sure which players I'd have for us tonight. Want them fresh for Sunday and get to the quarters in the FA Cup but fearing a hammering if we play the reserves tonight though I'm sure Eddie won't do that.

My problem with today's performance was not how Man City's new signings made a difference but how different our players were compared to our game earlier this season with them. We were never up for it. No need to compare the City players that played that day with who they had on today. We had mostly the same players and we were up for it back then, yet today, we were utterly dismal. That was at home and we've been shit at home recently in the league while being pretty good away but how bad it was today defies the form book and logic.
