  1. As long as you're missing it, WE HAVE A FIGHTING CHANCE! Cheers!
  2. Spurs fans are on some high grade weed. Poch Robbie Keane Good ol' arry Sherwood The clamour for Poch is ridiculuos. Its as if he'll just come back and get them success.
  3. Dear SUPERTOON Please go to work on Saturday too. Thanks. Regards Howe, E.
  4. Players really need to step up too. As much as I blame Eddie and his coaching team for our dire and predictable tactics and way of playing, some players have really slacked off and played well below their abilities. I don't think it has anything to do with Eddie losing the dressing room or anything like that but rather the players lack of hunger and motivation and perhaps ambitions as well. They are not doing what they can and have done before. Not taking risks, not having shots on goal, not going in for 50-50 challenges, not pressing like they can, these things are players themselves who can make things happen, whatever the tactics and instructions are from the manager, but they simply lacl.the desire to so.
  5. I'd rather he goes back to Italy. If he has reached his ceiling with us in terms of performances, then selling him won't hurt too much but I will never be able to hate watch a Man Utd game anymore if he signs for them and turns into an absolute world beater. We'll be at crossroads this summer for sure especially if we're not in Europe, never mind the Champions League and Gary Neville FC are.
  6. aye, i was fearing for big Nick especially since he missed his pen in the shootout against Bournemouth. Miss the chance to get us level, he would have been decimated by some section of our fans. Bruno did the right thing.
  7. Just try play like how we did when we we good. Pressing, put it out wide, overlapping runs, balls over the top, just do something fucking different ffs please. We have been an utter drivel and boring to watch. Struggling to get any rythym going. Slow, predictable, unimaginative by the book slogfest.
  8. I just want the old us back. Fucking tired of playing boring, predictable, no plan football.
  9. These are pulling away from us now.
  10. An absolute turd. Can squeeze it out, flush and be done with it.
  11. Top, top bloke. Don't really care how it's ending now but Jamaal more than deserves his place among the best captains of the team. He did what all Newcastle United captains should do, which is stand up for the club when in crisis and lead by example. The leadership group we have today was founded or related to him and he has been a stalwart for the club. Many thanks Capt and here's hoping for the best to the rest of your career. Hope to see your face again once in a while at SJP watching the Toon in the future!
  12. Unfortunately for you, Sandro put a bet on himself not to make a tackle in the match.
  13. For some reason, I have always loved this kit.
  14. Is there another draw after the playoffs to determine the matchups or has that been done too?
  15. That's alright to be fair. Our Carabao Cup shirt was deemed as 'boring' by some when it came out because adidas went for the 2002-2003 ntl: shirt design instead of the more popular grandad shirt. Even this season's shirt looked similar to previous years design so this one is definitely new and will divide opinion. Those who want originality will be happy with it, those who like it simple and clean can keep wearing the ones we have had previously. But I agree the blue on the kit is horrendous. I don't mind a tad of blue, especially the tone that we have on that one but it is too much for my liking. Sela looks much better on it rather than Riyadh Air. That'll just bring back memories of Wonga on the front.
  16. Off to Flameno for £35.5m.
  17. We do.have players who can hit it and maybe atleast get it on target but they aren't doing it atball, either by instruction from the coaching staff or a lack of belief in themselves that they can score.
  18. I find it worrying that we have reverted to some habits of the Bruce era, sloppy passing, heavy first touches, always losing second balls, no intent of having a go from distance and pulling out of 50-50 challenges. Slowly it has been seeping into our play, especially this season. How frustrating it was back then, I get the same feeling now when we do those things. Of course we have not sunk to exact Bruce levels, but those attributes are of his era, not Eddie's so I'm hating that we are making those errors. We rarely had bad 1st touches, went in for 2nd balls, which made us intense in our press. Can hardly see those these days in our play.
  19. There is just a sense of malaise when watching us play. Predictable, boring, tiresome and the sloppiness with our first touch and passing is just not what were are used to seeing from Eddie's team and players. Maybe it's got to a point whrere some likeable, lovable, undroppable players need to be benched or even be sold and replaced with new newer, fresher players, if possible in the current financial limitations. It is getting very stale consistently now.
  20. Bottlejobs FC are back bebeh!!!!
  21. Wish our players would have some balls to have a pop at goal from distance instead of just passing it sideways and then losing it thereafter. Dorgu and Cunha tried their luck in this game and see where did the ball end up in.
  22. We're predictable and boring and this is really getting tiresome.
