Only the third time we have lost to these at home in the league. A combo of we being shit and they being good got the outcome today. Just wish we pull out of the FA Cup next. Another embarassing performance and defeat on national tv is guaranteed there.

Our pattern of play, if we have one, is so predictable.

We never looked like we had any hope today. That Tonali miss was the writing on the wall of what was going to happen.

Loved it when we signed him instead of Maddisson, who some wanted purely because of his directness and finsihing while he was at Leicester. He always wants to bring the ball forward and would probably have a pop at goal when within decent distance and angle when some would pass it instead.

Personally, I feel for the guy right now. He obviously is trying his best and seems desperate to succeed here and not dissapoint the fans. Something is not clicking or working like it was eralier on and it looks like it's frustrating him. Hopefully, a goal would help his confidence short term but long term, we need a solution to getting the best out of him. No one wants him to fail here so hopefully we continue to supporting the fella. If we knock him too much now, then he goes on to have a brilliant World Cup, he probably wouldn't take too kindly coming back here afterwards if big clubs are after him. Don't think it's in his personality to do so but we had a freaking agent turn the head of our so called best player last summer. Don't need another repeat.

Would have put Ramsey on. Thought he played well against Bournemouth. Could have taken Trippier off and put Miley there and Ramsey replace Tonali. We really lacked runners through the middle which Ramsey did pretty well last weekend.

These players better give us a win against PSV. That was utter garbage. Some of them looked like they didn't wantbto.be out there and were saving themselves for Wednesday, didn't go in for 50-50s and let Wolves win second balls.

Games like tomorrow night are the one he relishes so expect him to put in a great perfromance but it's the team that I worry more for the game.

A real toss up between Howe and Keegan for me but based on success, I'd go Eddie to pip it. I would also say perhaps the way we end it with Eddie eventually will be decisive for some like me. I'd also go Rafa over SBR. No disrespect to SBR. Absolute legend to me in his time here. Can remember some of our greatest games under him but Rafa made me support the cloob again, made me want success for him and the team and he was working under an absolutely wank owner but stayed and got us back up to where we belong today. And ofcourse the takeover started with him too I believe. 1. Howe 2. Keegan 3. Rafa 4. SBR 5. As much as I want a lower league side, Cambridge at home a few years back shows how we can screw up such an easy looking tie on paper. Even Bromley last season wasn't easy viewing.

We did something similar against Norwich in the Championship didn't we? Scoring a last minute winner though I can barely remember the order of the gaols in that one. Can remember Barnes coming on as a sub and scoring twice against West Ham a couple of seasons ago to snatch another 4-3 win.
