  1. Marc Guehi has scored more goals for us this season than Callum Wilson
  2. From the first 5 minutes of that half, you could tell the players knew this was a big and important game, and when the players think its a big game, we're switched the fuck on. Add a bit of Palace not having high quality players, and being on the beach for their semi-final, and you get that sexual half of football. Genuinely elite performance.

    Jacob "The Juice" Murphy

Has he been taking a specific sort of PED that enhances his crossing or something? Unreal
  4. Arsenal Losing.... Real Madrid Winning

    Eddie Howe

Tindal said in his press conference yesterday that hes barely had any communication with Eddie bar a text to say well done after the Man United game.
  6. The prize money for winning the League cup is £100k.
  7. I don't think that's true like, we're actually remarkably alike when it comes to potential, and just general size of club as well. They're remarkably well run, and seem to be willing to push the boat out financially if required.
  8. Really glad you had that tonight, while you didn't go through, that's a game that's going to live long in the memories. Enjoy it my guy
  9. Tell you what, from the moment Konsa missed that header, PSG put on a clinic on how to see out a game in a hostile environment, Villa barely had a chance from that point.
  10. What a game of football that was. Absolutely quality stuff.
  11. That makes it interesting.
  12. As cynical as you're going to get from McGinn there
  13. I really hope it's a PSG Vs Barcelona final, with their play styles, it could be a really fun, exciting and exhilarating matchup, and I feel like that would be the first "must watch" Champions League final in a decade. Hopefully it'll also be the start of move away from super rigid, possession based play styles that have become the norm since Pep started doing his thing, where the players may as well be robots, given how both the teams have a degree of freedom about them.
  14. So, in terms of Saturday, from here do we want a proper demolition job from PSG here? To really demoralise Villa?
  15. Game over. How the fuck did Villa allow a 4v2 there?
  16. I feel like Villa's start to this game has been a bit naive, the where flooding men forward to get an early goal, but leaving so much space at the back, that PSG could break and sucker punch them easily.

    Eddie Howe

Newcastle United assistant manager Jason Tindall speaking before facing Crystal Palace on Eddie Howe: "That's the only update [from the club] really. We have had minimal dialogue together since the announcement. We know that he is in the best possible hands and he will be back as soon as he feels he is ready to come back 100% to lead the team. "Of course, your health is the most important thing and that is why it's so important that when Eddie decides to come back, he comes back and is able to lead the team like he does day in day out, fully recovered. And I am sure he will do that." Newcastle United assistant manager Jason Tindall on what role Eddie Howe will play in the upcoming fixtures: "We had minimal contact last week too in terms of preparations [against Manchester United]. But we know the expectations and demands we put on each other and ourselves each and every day. It's got to remain that way until the manager is back. "We know what to do and how we have to prepare in order to deliver performances that the manger will be proud of. "It's part of my job. I will do the best I possibly can in his absence. We have worked together for 17 years now, so we know what is expected of each other. Hopefully, I can deliver the same messages as he would want and hopefully he will be back as soon as possible."
  18. In fairness to Man United fans, in recent times that's not true, they backed Ole' and Ten Haag quite extensively when the outside world thought they where crazy.
  19. I don't want to sound patronising, as that's not the intention, but Bournemouth is the exact level of team from the "Big 5" Leagues that the Conference League was made for, teams like them, Heidenheim, Vitoria de Guimaraes, and Betis. Somewhat smaller clubs that maybe didn't have a chance of getting into Europe before hand, given the chance to go on a European adventure for having a half decent season. But because Chelsea where shit, and ended up in it, it gets derided.
