I've not watched Man United since Carrick came in, and I was expecting them to be fast and energetic and exploiting the wings, given the quality of their wingers, but there was none of that, it was infact the opposite and I was surprised at the complete lack of a press they employed, it all felt quite static, I know a lot of that was down to our good performance, but they where actually pretty sloppy overall. That was there 32nd game this season, while it was our 46th, you genuinely would have thought it was the other way round. Carrick has a bit of the Bruce about him, not in the complete lack of a plan aspect, but more that he seemed to have no presence on the touchline, like at all, he looked quite timid and very quiet. If I was a Man United fan it wouldn't fill me with confidence.

That was an incredible performance, and an amazing result. I love our mentality when we go down a man, we change our shape but keep our intensity and our effort, we were better then them throughout. Trippier was probably our man of the match, he was a leader and embodied the entire team performance, Ramsdale too, so quality saves. Ramsey's red was a joke, there was actually contact, and Ramsey didn't even appeal for the pen, he just fell over, and the ref's performance was a joke overall. That Osula goal is probably our goal of the season, everything about it is incredible from winning the ball back, to the ball from Trippier, to the inch perfect finish, it was unreal.

New rule, he only plays when we are down to 10 men. Outrageous goal that, won the ball, put the afterburners on, cut inside, and a unreal finish.

Are people actually blaming Ramsdale for their goal? Its a point blank header thats headed downwards and bounces to the side of his feet, im not really sure what he's done wrong. I actually thought he had a decent half tbh.

Beyond all the shit that the ref was gagging to do, did anyone else notice that when Shaw went down with a head injury, he let play go on, then stopped play due to the head injury, we had possession at the time, but Man United had the restart.

The England Under-19 international, son of United legend Darren Fletcher, was shown a red card in the 62nd minute of a 5-2 EFL Trophy defeat by Barnsley in October. I personally think this new longer international break is a step in the right direction, but doesn't go far enough. For me the ideal would be to have that longer break in November, so the season is a decent way started before the interruption, then combine the current November and March international breaks and have another 3 week break in March, so the season is only broken up twice, instead of 4 time this season and 3 next.
