If Chelsea draw 0-0 and Arsenal win 2-1 (or 1-1 and 3-2 etc.) on Sunday that means that the two clubs will be level on points, goal difference and goals scored, which would mean there would have to be a play off game for third sport, at a neutral venue.

Just had a look on a few Wigan forums, non of them give a shit about being relegated. They seem to be hanging on to tha fact they won the FA cup, rather then think about relegation.

In less than a year and a half Graeme Souness spent £50m taking us from a team that finished top 5 3 years on the bounce to a team that finished lower than we currently sit. In a little over 2 years Pardew's taken a newly promoted team to the Europa league quarter finals on about half as much money. ...but you hate the latter more? He took over a team in mid-table. 13th...where we are now. So then, if Hughton got sack for being in 13th so shouldn't Pardew?

Why? Elliot has done well as the number 2 this season, and has been impressive on occasions, he's still young (for a goalkeeper anyway) and up and coming as well.

I don't think we'll be as bad next year. Pardew's biggest weakness is his mentality, he's a poor person to have when the pressure's on and you're playing catch up. Hopefully the Summer and next season's start can be more settled than last year's so he can stick to a blueprint for the team. I'm intrigued to see what his plans are for some players. I'm not, I just want to see the back of him.
