The Relegated teams seem to be struggling quite a bit in the Championship this season, just as the promoted teams seem to be doing well in the Premier League. Its kind of nice to see, shows that the gap isn't as massive as it has been over the last couple of years, and that the Premier League isn't a closed shop.

Disappointing result, but I don't think we disgraced ourselves in any way, they where the second best team in Europe last year, and we matched them for the most part, and the deciding goal was a unreal strike. That said, it was pretty clear that we are still a level below that upper echelon of European clubs, our passes from our better players where just not accurate enough, and we continually gave the ball away and always felt rushed, whereas it was the opposite for the Barcelona, they looked like they had a lifetime on the ball at all points. It felt like a game where the first goal was key, and after that Rashford header it seemed like the life got sucked out of us and the occasion a little, then the second goal killed everything really, we looked super flat after that, atleast up until our goal which was a quality move, then Barcelona put on a clinic as to how to kill a game from that point. Still proud of the lads for that performance, and the club and fans in general for that display. That'll be a learning curve which Eddie will no doubt take something from which will propel us further. Onwards and upwards
