  1. Watford are so used to managerial changes that they didn't even bother releasing separate statements for the sacking and new appointment. They just released one saying "Club Statement: Head Coach".
  2. I'm bored in a meeting, so here's my ranking of the 37 players we've signed since 2020: I've basically just bunched all the new signings into lower mid-table just due to the small sample size.
  3. Atleast by the middle of October we'll have had the three most annoying fixtures out the way in Villa, Bournemouth and Brighton away.
  4. Luton seems to be having a real tough time of it. They just sacked their manager after a really poor start to the season, especially compared to the expectations before the season.
  5. 1) Trippier 2) Bruno 3) Burn 4) Tonali 5) Wilson
  6. The captain's stunning second-half strike that opened the scoring in Sunday's 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest was his 23rd Premier League goal for Newcastle. The only other Newcastle midfielders with more are club legends Rob Lee and Gary Speed.

The pen is outrageous like, don't think I've seen a penalty like it. It's like a golf wedge shot
  8. That's utterly ridiculous from Haaland.
  9. This is the first time I've seen Sunderland this season, have they always been this shit? They look terrible in possession.
  10. That's actually the perfect execution for how VAR should work. You can see why the linesman thinks in real time that Sesko's boot has made contact with Hume's face, but it hadn't so was over turned. And I don't think Hume didn't anything wrong either, the ball smacked him in the face at the same time.
  11. Who do Forest turn to if they do part company with Ange? I can't think of many available off the top of my head
  12. It's only half time, and the chances are they turn it around, but Ange at Forest is going worse then I expected: He's so getting his first win against us isn't he
  13. As funny as it is seeing Ange being abject, don't we kind of need them to win so the Premier League gets the 5th Champions League spot? It must be pretty shit being a Forest fan at the moment, this should be a really exciting season, they're playing a home European tie for the first time in 30 years, but instead they sacked the manager that got them that European Spot, all so they could appoint Big Ange, and havent won a game since.
  14. The amount of bites that Froggy gets is genuinely impressive, he has a higher hit rate than TBG at this point.
  15. Tonali has basically played every minute for us this season bar the Bradford game, as well as playing the two games for Italy in the last International break, and he's going to need a rest at some point, and I feel like this game against a team who have been struggling and are in transition is a good time to do that
  16. My overriding memory of playing Forest, is that game on the opening a few year back where Forest had a corner, and decided to put no-one in the box, and instead to start way outside of it.

So we're all just in here chatting and no-one has mentioned that filthy bit footwork he did right at the start of the second half huh?
  18. It is a fair point to be honest. I guess you could just look at Spurs drawing away at Bodo/Glimt as an example.
  19. Genuinely think going forward when we need to rotate one of our CB's due to fatigue, we should just swap both of them out. Botman - Thaiw Burn - Schar Two very tidy, but also different types of CB partnerships, that will allow us tactical flexibility depending on the opposition we're playing. Then big Jamal can fill in a times if needed too.

I really amused me in the summer when Isak was doing his whole rat thing, that all the pundits where going on that Isak was our most important player. Meanwhile we had this guy running out and commanding games time and again.
  21. I'm not going to lie, it feels a little odd after winning 4-0 away in a Champions League game, that i'm feeling like it was routine. Not sure if that says something about us, or how the disparity between the top 5 leagues in Europe and the rest is rather grimly getting much wider.
