League Cup 3rd Round - Man City (H) Champions League Group Stage - PSG, Milan, Dortmund League Cup 4th Round - Man United (A) League Cup 5th Round - Chelsea (A) Let's see how we get shafted in this draw Numbers:

Probably not the thread to make the point, but it's ridiculous that they where even planning to fly at that short a distance. COP26 is going on as we speak and we have clubs flying such short distances as the world slowly burns. They shouldn't be allowed to do so imo.
-
But who's gonna bring the juice if we sell Murphy?
-
Also got Wigan Vs York for some FA Cup action on BBC2.
-
Thats the reason I never get anything from sites like DHgate
-
York playing Wigan tonight in the FA Cup second round and it'll be live on BBC Two.
-
Starting line-up i'm guessing will be the same as mid-week? Though would be tempted to put Hall at LB, Tino at RB and give Trippier a bit of a rest, doubt that would happen though. Lets play the bench game, i'll go: Dubs, Karius, Hall, Dummett, Krafth, Ritchie, Parkinson, Diallo, Ndiweni A bit better then last week, but still grim.

Howe on Willock's injury: "We hope he is not too bad. We thought there could be a total reoccurrence, which would have been six to eight weeks. We hope it is not that long but the problem that we have is two to three weeks at this stage feels like a lifetime for us with the amount of games we have. So although it is possibly good news, it is still really frustrating."
-
Looking at a 12 weeks recovery time from the injury date on 11th November for the lad.
-
Updates from Howe in todays presser: Sean Longstaff - Not Deemed a long term injury, timescale in weeks and not months. Joe Willock - Not Deemed a long term injury, timescale in weeks and not months. Harvey Barnes - Still hasnt trained with the squad, but is making good progress in recovery. Sven Botman - Still hasnt trained with the squad, building up his knee slowly as to not cause further injury. Elliott Anderson - Set to see specialist, still looking at a 12 weeks recovery time from the injury date on 11th November.

That's just a standard night in Birmingham isn't it?

I find the whole "6 in a row" thing really odd, like I get for them it was a big deal at the time, especially give where the respective clubs have been in the 20 years prior, but its been near enough 8 years since we last played them, in the mean time we've been a stable Premier League club, that has hit the Champions League and got to a cup final, all the while they've spent 4 seasons in League One after back to back relegations, and took over London for *Checks Notes* The Papa Johns Trophy. Its just bizarre how they keep clinging onto it like it matter or that we Newcastle fans care

I did literally last week

Clean sweep of nominations in the November awards. Manager of the Month: Howe Player of the Month: Gordon Save of the Month: Pope vs Chelsea

I get that he's ETH's man, but surely he has to at this point, if you keep playing someone who is underperforming it sends a bad message to the rest of the group. For example, if Maguire dropped two clangers equivalent to what Onana did yesterday, then you can bet he'd be dropped, so if Onana doesn't, then it sends a bad message to the rest of the squad. That said, I have no idea who your backup is and if he's any good.
-
De Gea was the best shot stopper (Along with Alisson) in the league for a good 5 years or so. I get the need for keepers to play out from the back, but sometimes keepers just need to be good at what they're there for, and this Onana situation is a very good example of that.
-
Sammie Szomdics having some season.
-
I still don't get why you don't like Zaha
-
Do we think there is a chance Onana gets dropped on Saturday? I hope not
