I've said it many times over the years, but overall I prefer the Europa League, for lack of a better word, it feels more genuine like it means more to the clubs competing in it. Whereas the Champions League just feels like a corporate hellscape lacking any soul. Obviously I love being in it, but that's not the point.

Them 11 players, what a fucking group, the squad is on its knees, a bare 11, and they go and produce that performance, fucking heroes the lot of them. Each of them a colossus. Not getting a result because of that decision, absolute joke.

Well that was some proper ropadope stuff. We've played really well, held our shape when needed, pressed in others. Had times where we have dictated possession, and sat deep in others. Really impressive stuff.

You mean like we had no chance of getting fourth last season? They have one of the best managers in the league, have made Villa Park and absolute fortress, and a place they will barely drop points at. They have a huge amount of depth, and only have to deal with the Conference League. While it's not definite, they 100% can get in this season.

They have Man City and Arsenal back to back in a few weeks both at home, given how impressive their home form is, they could be some cracking games.
