It's funny how people are so worried about this game, as personally I can't remember a Premier League game where I've ever been this unworried about an opposition, and been supremely confident of a win, it feels weird honestly. Obviously that could just be hubris talking, but Southampton have nothing, and are clearly the worst team in the league, we've already beat them three times this season, they essentially downed tools at home to Bournemouth and they're already basically relegated. So long as the players aren't complacent, we have nothing to worry about imo.

So the current state of play, as things stand. We are on 62 points, with a possible 18 points to get. Man United: 2 points ahead of them, they have a game in hand - Can get a max of 21 points. Aston Villa: 8 points ahead of them, we have a game in hand - Villa can get a max of 15 points. Tottenham: 8 points ahead of them, we have a game in hand - Spurs can get a max of 15 points. Liverpool: 9 points ahead of them, played the same amount - Liverpool can get a max of 18 points. Brighton: 13 points ahead of them, they have 2 games in hand - Can get a max of 24 points. Thats juicy.

That was a really weird game to be honest, they for the first 70 minutes where the team on top, where pressing really well, and generally disrupting everything we tried, but every time they got the ball they just didn't do anything with it, there only tactic was lumping it to DCL, and our defenders dealt with every ball and cross they tried, with Pope barely having to sweat. Then as soon as the second went in, they just downed tools tbh, and we showed our class. Fucking great result though, its good this being class lark
