Bentaleb, he was one in a long line of forgettable players that coated the era of apathy that let up to the takeover. Nabil Bentaleb Irving Lozano Danny Rose Antonio Barreca Yoshinori Muto Kenedy (second season) Henri Saivet Achraf Laazar Mat Selz

Brighton's dressing room looks sick.
-
I remember me and you defending him at the time, as I distinctly remember every game we lost being positive in some way, and he wasn't getting the rub of the green

Howay Fulham that's beatable.

Ideal scenario is: Fulham beat Liverpool this evening. Man United beat Brighton tomorrow. Brentford get altleast a point against Liverpool on Saturday. We beat Arsenal on Sunday. Brighton drop points against Everton on Monday. That happens, we're guaranteed Champions League Football next season.

Went onto a Leeds forum, mainly to see the fume of the appointment, and saw this at the top of their board

I was wondering why I had absolutely no idea who he was

Out of the signings Chelsea have made this season, how many of them have been even remotely successful? Enzo Fernandez = £120m Wesley Fofana = £80m Mykhaylo Mudryk = £70m Marc Cucurella = £65m Raheem Sterling = £56m Bernoit Badiashile = £38m Kalidou Koulibaly = £38m Noni Madueke = £35m Malo Gust = £30m Carney Chukwuemeka = £18m Aubameyang = £12m David Fofana = £12m Joao Felix = £11m Loan fee Zakaria = £3m Loan fee Chukwuemeka, maybe?

Could that have gone realistically any worse for Boehly this season? Spent £600 on shiny things without any real plan, and you end up in 15th

Lovely goal that, Zinchenko's smart passing allowed that to happen.

What happened the Claridge? He just seemingly disappeared, always seemed a decent lad.

To be fair to the guy, he has been with them since 2017, is the one who bought in Beilsa, and got them promoted back to the Premier League, so overall has been a net positive. That said he has been terrible this season, not sure if it could have gone worse.

That logo wouldn't actually be that bad, and there are much worse sponsors you could have then a middle eastern retail tycoon, especially one that isn't linked to the Saudi state.

Truro City, my local side got promoted to the National League South last night, huge for the club and for Cornish football as a whole, they're the highest ranked team in the county and have been for a long while, so any progress they make, is great for the region, as football down this way is in the wilderness. They just need to move back to Truro now, given they've been playing out of Plymouth the last few years, as their ground got sold to Lidl and the council then fucked them over with their new proposed stadium.

Anyone who's watched Leeds lately know they can't sit back and defend and Gracia attempting to do that is what has caused them to ship 22 goals in April, so hiring Alladyce a defensive minded manager makes no sense to me, especially given he'll barely have any time on the training pitch and only be at the club for three weeks.

To be fair, that's actually a good save from Pickford, alot of players go down the middle like Maddison did there, as the keeper always dives, but Pickford held his nerve, and stayed central, i'm more inclined to give Pickford praise then condemn Maddison in that scenario tbh.

When we sign Maddison, he's never taking Pens.
