  1. Most of them came from Trippier in the first 10 minutes to be fair Personally think we've overall been really good in possession, and that it's the best we've looked on the ball all season.
  2. Fun fact, since Dyche came into Everton, 42% of all of their goals have come from set pieces.
  3. A very competitive game in which we've looked relatively comfortable. I actually think that's the best I've seen seen our midfield look on the ball for a long time, its very dynamic and fluid, and we're playing it around nicely. Tonali just oozes quality. Its the final third that's the issue, we're getting into dangerous areas but not being able to get a shot off, which is a bit infuriating. I knew Gordon was missing that pen, it felt written
  4. The current top 7 in the Championship contains a bunch of unbelievably boring teams. Will be grim if its 3 from them that ends up going up.
  5. Birmingham lose their first of the season to Nathan Jones' Charlton.
  6. Gateshead seem to have not had any dip post Elliott leaving which is decent. Truro City just beat previously unbeaten and top of the league Hemel Hempstead in what is starting to look like a promising season in the National League south
  7. I would hate to have a Brentford or Wolves keeper in my FPL
  8. Southampton winning, Its never going to stick, so not even going to begin to hope it does. It is funny mind
  9. Brentford love a fast goal, in the last four games they've scored: 76 seconds in against Wolves 40 seconds in against West Ham 22 seconds in against Man United 23 seconds in against Tottenham

Are there any rules about having a closed roof at football stadiums? I'm only asking as I can't think of any football stadiums that do. Think it would class if possible, would be great for creating and keeping an atmosphere.
  11. What happened to Kelleher?
  12. So is Wharton any decent? After the clamor of him being the next Iniesta in the summer, feels like he'd gone off the boil.

    Eddie Howe

Not sure I've celebrated a goal more viscerally than that one I was in a packed pub in the middle of Plymouth during that game, but no-one was actually their for the match (other than me and one other dude) it was just Easter and the sun was out for the first time that year, so when that goal went in I not only scared the living shit out of anyone around me who where not paying attention, but also got loads of looks from people like I was bonkers. Was class

Hasn't the Gateshead International stadium got a big massive running track? Could that not be used with temporary stands for a few years?
  15. I love how they couldn't release that after the game, but a year later and it's fine
  16. Especially if Branthwaite is out, as our press vs Michael Keane should be interesting.

  18. That Schar goal is my probably my favourite ever Newcastle goal, and it probably isn't even close tbh.

I think Howe's comments in his presser was spot on to be honest, and sum up a lot of fans view would be to be honest:
