I'd wait a little bit before making that statement like. They have been batshit these past two years, and it's going to take more than what is essentially one good period of form under a new manager against teams currently sat in 8th, 13th, 14th, 17th and 20th, to prove to me otherwise.

Chelsea have had a really favorable set fixtures to start the season, their next 10 will define them as its a challenging run, if they can get 20-25 points, they'll be in for a good season:

We have a Non-League thread, and a "Other 19" thread, only right that we have an EFL one. West Brom who have started the season so well, but that Sheffield Wednesday game proves how competitive the Championship is. Meanwhile Birmingham in League One have started to look as imperious as people where predicting in Pre-Season. Also, ol' Stephen Clemence's Barrow is losing to Gillingham after a good start to the season.

Man of the match for me, he was utter quality, both with his passing and more importantly his defensive work, completely nullified both Silva and Savinho.

Given Man City where unbeaten in 28 games in the League coming in to it going back to last December. That is as good a result and performance as you can realistically ask for.

Fantastic result and performance that, defensively we where so so solid, Haaland barely had a sniff. That needs to be the template going forward.

Thought that was a good performance, and our best half of the season so far, just a shame we're playing the best team in the world and one moment I'm lapse of concentration and they're ahead.

Not to defend the Premier League, but from what I remember (and this is from an article about 6 months back so may be wrong) the reason it's taking so long and why it's not as easy to integrate into our game compared to others is due to the way Nike design the ball, which means the chip that the Champions League ball has implanted (Adidas manufacture) can't be used. So they're having to create an entirely new system that they had to go out to tender for. Given Nike are being replaced with Puma from next season anyway, I'm not sure why they don't just wait and get the system integrated correctly.
