You probably do hear it every season. "We've got the McTominay sale in the back pocket." "We've got the Garnacho sale in the back pocket."
-
It was offset by Garnacho, Antony, Sancho, Rashford, Hojlund, Evans, Lindelof and Eriksen leaving the club and great sell on fees from Elanga and Carreras. You can't have outgoings like that every year.
-
We absolutely could not. We're in trouble if we don't get European football this season. We're just lucky enough to have the Mainoo sale and Saudi interest in Fernandes in the back pocket if it goes tits up.
-
We didn't blow you out of the water. Like Mbeumo, Sesko just wanted to come to us over you. You went and spent pretty much the same amount on Woltemade and offered him similar wages as well.
-
Can we? Almost like we haven't cut half of our workforce and sold a lot of homegrown talent.
-
Andy Goldstein. TalkSport presenter with a high opinion of himself and terrible opinions on football.
-
He/his agents were also demanding a huge contract increase in the summer. This sort of drama just isn't worth it for a 20 year old, especially when there's huge incentives now to sell your youth. He's a prick. He was Amorim out for ages and then we won a couple of games in a row and he changed his mind, then was Amorim out after the Everton loss. Just a fickle wanker.
-
He wants to play of course, but he's also 20 years old and needs to understand that Bruno Fernandes is the player ahead of him. Funny enough with Amad and Mbeumo going to AFCON and the FA Cup around the corner, he was probably going to get a lot more opportunities. These stunts with his brother and Goldstein are going to hurt him.

Kobbie might see the overwhelming support from fans start to evaporate soon. These kids just don't help themselves at all.
-
You had a shit window last year and qualified for the CL to be fair.
-
Even at us when he made a mistake or made the wrong decision, he was visibly affected by it. He's an emotional fella and unlike a lot of professional footballers these days he's committed and just wants to help the team. Getting on his back is a good way to completely destroy the lad. I do think he'll get to a level where he's serviceable for you, especially if you start to play a bit deeper or on the counter. Hopefully that's after you have a really poor season and are forced to sell your best players and never challenge the "cartel" again.

To be fair to Amorim, last night is the first time Kobbie has come on this season and been in any way decent. He's been terrible with the opportunities he's had so far. He'll get more opportunities in the next few weeks and we'll see how he does. Really like the kid but this nonsense with his family is just Garnacho all over again and I don't mind if players with that kind of baggage are sold.
-
Did you see the chances Mbeumo missed tonight?
-
That's because we had hard games for ages.
-
We got £23m for him to be fair. A fee most of you would probably take right now.
-
@KaKa thoughts?
-
You're such a good guy Yorkie. You find it so hard to say anything negative about anybody.
-
Think there was only 1 goal difference anyway. I've just deleted one.
-
@Magpie Just a heads up even though you'll notice, I've fired this gameweek down twice and it slightly differs. I can delete the second post if it's easier. Think it was a higher scoring one too.
-
You do have to ask yourself though, how well would Steve Bruce have done if he was given £600m?
-
We've only lost 1 in our last 9 JT, so that can't be true? But yes, it's nauseating the amount of scrutiny the team is constantly under. People were praising Chelsea a couple of weeks ago. We're level on points with them, 1 point off 4th, with the third best attack in the league and that's having played every team in the top 11 apart from Villa. Yet if we fail to beat Bournemouth it would be dressed up as some sort of crisis. It's so fucking boring.
-
Wolves were absolutely rancid. Hard to remember a team as bad.
