Tim Sherwood has just said on BT that Newcastle would be relegated without Rafa and that Mike Ashley has to take the credit for appointing him.

Do any of you have any experience with getting tickets to games in Germany, more specifically Dortmund? Looking to go to Dortmund on the 27th of April and they're playing Schalke. A mate of mine went a couple of years ago but has been unable to reconnect with the folks that got him tickets.

We did alright in the mid to late 90's Neesy. -
If Atsu could shoot this could have been very different. Almost certain Mourinho would have lost this game.

Reading some of their comments, I hope they never overtake Man City or qualify for the Champions League ever again. RedCafe is a disaster.

Sheringham equaliser. Solksjaer winner.

While I'm delighted that Mourinho is gone it's a bit disappointing when you see just how much the players weren't trying. This is a completely different team. If you're not going to play for the manager at least play for the shirt. At the same time he'd still be here then.

Lukaku needs to slim down a bit first. I don't know how he was allowed to pack on so much muscle. Really poor management that. I'd have him on the bench when he's fit for the reasons you say. The football yesterday was great. He'll slow it down.

Herrera had a great game yesterday.

Martial was the only player keeping Jose in a job. He has scored like 8 or 9 goals in the few months you reckon he's been sulking. Please research before coming out with nonsense.
-
I get your point but the players you're naming are the creme de la creme of their position. I'm not saying Herrera is the best in the world, but I think he's excellent and when it comes to the much needed clear out I'd be gutted and surprised if he was to go. Then again Pochettino or whoever comes in might have the same opinion as you lot and not me.
-
Do some research by the way. This is nuts. His numbers in terms of interceptions, tackles, passes etc. rivals Kante. "runs around a lot" Absolute madness. Diame is ahead of everyone in that respect btw, I presume you wouldn't have him starting for Man United. It might be more of an indication that you're not controlling possession, rather than an indication of his worth. Haven't watched him enough to say but given how terrible we've been there's not a lot of players I'd say no to, especially if they've been impressing at their respective squads. Every Man United player has tested my patience over the last year or two. Rashford, Mata, Herrera and De Gea are the ones who I find it hard to criticise. If I was Solskjaer, every one of them would be starting tomorrow.

I personally feel like Herrera is a perfect compliment to Pogba, and the success that Jose did have was a lot to do with that partnership. He's a proper box to box midfielder and a hell of a lot more mobile than Matic. Matic is a very good player in his own right but with the two of them in midfield it becomes too slow. I'd chose Herrera over Matic in a heartbeat. Definitely one of those players though that you would absolutely despise if he isn't on your side.

Sancho is special.

Can be a dirty player though. Agree with that KI.

I honestly have no idea what you're basing those opinions on. I can only assume both of you don't watch Man United very often. He's an excellent player. Genuinely baffled. Speak to any Manchester United fan and he'll be one of the only ones exempt from any criticism whatsoever. He's in the top 5 performance wise for the club in the last 2/3 years.

We need centre backs. Completely fine in midfield and attack. Go all out for Koulibaly and Skriniar and with someone like Poch we will challenge. Desperately need those centre backs though.
-
He's a class player. Our player of the year the season before last. Has a good game every time he plays and is one of the few players who gives 100% no matter what. SanToon talking absolute nonsense. bizarre to put Herrera in that post.

Herrera? What?

Seen this a couple of times now, surely Real Madrid is the biggest club in the world. What's your definition on biggest? Real Madrid are a better side. Man United are the most valuable club with the most fans, or "fans" before someone tries to be funny. Taking "everything" into consideration. Quality of the squad, reputation, value, stadium, fan base... Aye well then Man United are bigger. And do Man U really have more fans worldwide? Sounds strange to me. They are easily the most supported team in the world by a distance. Aye, but that's all they've got over Madrid Higher value of club, more revenue, higher average attendance... It's more than Real Madrid are a better side, and that's all they've got over Man United. Pretty important mind.
-
Most likely outcome. We'll pay a fortune for Poch, they'll get Howe. He'll do a brilliant job as well I reckon.

Do you think Mourinho would have done a better job at Cardiff? Lets be realistic here. I don't think Solskjaer is a good manager, but at the same time we're all basing this on less than a full season at Cardiff City, who were absolutely dreadful to begin with. He has top players at his disposal now, and they'll want to do well for him. They hated Mourinho. Kaiz might be able to confirm but by all accounts Solskjaer has done a brilliant job at Molde as well. It'll be interesting. Absolutely yes. Unequivocably. Why would the players want to do well for him btw? Because he was once a player? He's won nothing mangerially, was mainly a sub for Man United, and he's managed nobody. I think you're overlooking how much we think of Solskjaer like. He's a huge club legend who still gets his name chanted at games. Wasn't mainly a sub either. Far more starts than sub appearances, but got the supersub tag because of how many he scored off the bench. Zidane had won nothing as a manager like. Neither had Pep. This is Solskjaer's first job with good players at his disposal. And got fuck all time to try and get them to gel together. Managers need a full season at least.
