  1. What is he supposed to do like? There is very few keeping the ball for Arsenal and when he gets it he keeps it. Off he comes now anyway.
  2. Another wee "go on" from our Andy.
  3. Harsh on Mandzukic. Extremely underrated technical ability. And for whoever said Kroos is the best in that team, let me just say: He is underrated technically, but I said he's a level below most on that team, which he is. I don't think even think that's a negative thing to say. Most of the players for Bayern are technically fantastic. I really like Mandzukic. When the Ballon d'Or shortlist came out I felt he ought to be on it and got laughed off the forum for saying so.
  4. In terms of technical ability Mandzukic is a level below most on that team but he keeps fucking scoring. His record over the last season and a half is very impressive.
  5. Ribery's by far their best player like, this season and a half at least, but each to their own.
  6. All I know is I really want Kroos to leave Bayern and come to us.
  7. Kroos is class like, but Lahm and Ribery are definitely better. Robben, Gotze, Thiago, Martinez and Muller are arguably better as well.
  8. Wee silly one for tonight. Arsenal/Bayern draw and under 2.5 in Atletico/Milan. 11/1. $10.
  9. I'll let you know at the beginning of next season. The Fellaini buy doesn't exactly give me buckets of confidence (although he's looked extremely good since coming back), however if he buys well in the summer I'll be a lot more optimistic. Hopefully he gets most of his business done before the World Cup and we can be well prepared for the new season. Europe is an absolute must next season. A decent title challenge would be nice but we'll see.
  10. 4/1 they were offering wasn't it?
  11. Tbf i don't know about Rooney but Messi has been nothing short of outstanding for Argentina over the last two years. I agree, but the criticism was major tournaments. Figure quoted is anywhere between $1billion and $1.3billion. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/457450/EXCLUSIVE-United-set-to-strike-1bn-kit-deal http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/manchester-united-seal-world-record-600million-3221922 http://www.ftbpro.com/posts/jamie.spencer/761398/manchester-united-close-to-confirming-new-600m-nike-kit-deal It's a crazy deal, but shows our pulling power. It'll be double the nearest competitor, which I think is Madrid at £31m per year.
  12. Or, in other words, you will remain envious of the club. Yes.
  13. Everybody I know was on that horse. I didn't realise the closest competitor to it was 13/1.
  14. You're aware these deals are happening with Fergie gone though right? It's unlikely we'll ever get a manager like Fergie again, but what club will? We'll be just fine.
  15. Baron Capital's purchased 9,581,636 shares of Manchester United, which were worth $151million (£90million) at the close of the market on Monday. This represents 2.5% of our total shares, putting total value of the club at £3.6billion. People really think we're going to go the way of Liverpool? New $1billion Nike deal also incoming.
  16. What do you reckon for Man United to quality at 7/4? I'm up over $100 the last week. If I come through this weeks CL unscathed I might fire $40 on us to qualify.
  17. I didn't compare him to Messi per se. I compared their international records.
  18. Irish are the hardest working man. That's clear as day.
  19. Rooney has never won the golden boot, not that means fuck all. Some of the leagues best ever strikers have never won it.
  20. He's 28 and has scored 227 goals. Be quiet, please.
  21. Scored against City this year...Scored twice away to City last year... Shall I go on? You're embarrassing yourself. You've been horribly wrong with the last couple of things you said. You should have just said you don't think Rooney is World Class and then shut up.
