  1. Quite looking forward to this one. Is it wrong that I'm not? Doing an all-nighter before work for this. I better be happy and tired tomorrow and not angry and tired.

  3. Aye there's a graph floating about on the forum somewhere and Redknapp and Fat Sam are among the highest paid in the World.
  4. 32 this Feb. And word is they they are trying to entice him with 65kpw. I thought Martin O'Neill was managing Ireland now?
  5. Love the complete oversight there. Not what I said in the slightest.
  6. He didn't like. He went down holding his face and stayed down. No rolling about, not flopping about. If that's how you're describing that incident I'd like a description of Steven Taylors dive against Villa. Nobody thinks Steven Taylor is a cunt for that except Sunderland and Villa fans probably. It was a goal if he didn't stick his hand out. He tried to save his team and stay on the pitch, but he cheated and is guilty of one of the most over the top displays of diving the league has ever seen.
  7. if it was the other way round, rob lee on solskjaer would you say the same thing ? Of course not, especially given the situation of the title race. That's the only point I wanted to make.
  8. Banned for a season for a professional foul. It's called a professional foul for a reason. Also I remember the Campbell sending off like it was yesterday. I don't think it was deliberate but he clearly caught him. The linesman flagged it by the way and when the ref came over to talk to him you could clearly hear on the tv the linesman say "he seemed to deliberately use his elbow." The linesman got Sol sent off. All Solskjaer done was take an elbow to the face. Zidanes headbutt was not fucking warranted by the way. Of course Materazzi was unsportsmanlike and extremely cuntish with what he said, but Zidanes retaliation is still unsportsmanlike conduct. Fuck knows the reaction on here if he had nutted Rob Lee.
  9. If you type in Zidane is the first result "Zidane headbutt?" Three great players. Solskjaer in second place because Alan Shearer was fucking dearer.
  10. What did you expect to come up when you put that in? Put in "shearer elb" and shearer elbow comes up, what a cunt. Solskjaer is so class man. I wish he didn't take this job though.

  13. Fuck off Dave. Bumping the thread with a LOL smiley ffs.
  14. Surely for a club like yourselves it doesn't make as much difference. You could play a reserve team in that competition and still make the latter stages. I was taking the piss anyway. We don't even deserve to finish in sixth place at the minute. The only time we've played any decent attacking football at home is when we've went behind. Really piss poor performances at Old Trafford this season.
  15. We have to be careful not to qualify for the Europa League. That could really take its toll next season.
  16. We scored two in two minutes aye. Kagawa scored, playing through the centre as well. Mad what happens when a top player is played in position.
  17. And Rooney. This is a fucking joke. We're ridiculously boring to watch at the minute and our whole team are cheating. Gross.
  18. Van Gerwen should be a comfortable winner, but Wright had a 100 average and a 60% checkout rate in his last game. If he does that again it could be very interesting. Saying that I don't see value in anything. You have to remember Lewis is a perfect opponent for MVG. He's allowed to throw his natural game whereas against Snakebite he probably won't be as fluent. Still reckon 7-4 for MVG though. Thought I might hoy $2 on a 9 darter if it was 25/1 or more and it was 7/1. My advice is steer clear.
  19. Van Persie scored and created more in the last two seasons than Suarez though.
  20. I kind of just continued on with the debate in the Liverpool thread. Had Solskjaer and Hernandez lined up next week...
  21. Personally, and it may come as no surprise, I think Van Persie is the better player. I was a bit shocked to see a few people rate Suarez far higher than Van Persie. Reasons below. First off, a lot of people like quoting stats, while a lot find them misleading, but I'll start there. If I was to directly compare stats of the players, Van Persie has scored more goals in each of his last three seasons than Suarez. They were level last season with goals, but van Persie had three more assists, a higher passing success rate (80.02 vs 76.06), less shots per game, more aerial duels won per match and less bookings. It's pretty much the same for all seasons. Van Persie dominates the stats. http://www.whoscored.com/Players/4564/History/Robin-van-Persie http://www.whoscored.com/Players/22221/History/Luis-Surez ------------- Aside from dribbling, at which Suarez is clearly superior, I can't see any other aspects of his game that are better than Van Persies. Corners? Van Persie. Free kicks? Very close, but I'd say Van Persie. Penalties? Van Persie. Technique wise I don't think there's a striker in the league that touches Van Persie. Suarez is capable of thumping in a wonder goals AS we've seen many times this season, but does he have the technique to control a ball and finish like Van Persie? I'll point to his goal against Villa last season. Van Persie is probably the only striker in the league capable of doing that. Likewise with his goal against Charlton for Arsenal a few years back. Just sheer genius. Very similar records at international level. I don't think there's anything to separate either player there. You could argue Netherlands are stronger than Uruguay or vice versa. But it would be nitpicking. Suarez is a world class player, but when both are fit and firing, Van Persie is a better player IMO.
