Is it not worth selecting him in the squad next league game and come on very late and get booked? Serve his two games injured.

The way we’ve been cut through lately 5 at back probably smart for the game. Height and experience. Hopefully crowd respond to defensive play as much as they do attacking. Early signs in the ground good 🤞🏻

Thunderstruck apparently for players entry music.

I just don’t want anyone posting this is their first game in a while and yet to see us win. Cursed us twice against Bournemouth and Fulham

Thanks both for confirming 👍🏻

I read somewhere that loans are bad business sense with regards to PSR as a loan fee (hefty these days depending on the player) can’t be amortised. Is that all correct and another reason why we don’t look to short term solutions like some?
-
I’d imagine so but possibly insufficient for in/out turnaround. Tours these days are literally moving circuses these days on very tight schedules to cram more dates in. Another industry that’s lost out on physical sales and is chasing revenue elsewhere. Also the corner the tunnel is in and shape of stadium might not make logistical sense. Don’t know for sure though. Never been a band on at SJP that I’d want to see so far to see how they set it all up.

Don’t think they are talking about road access. They seem to be referring to getting equipment in and out the ground quickly via our one small tunnel. Sky/TNT just need cameras inside the ground. Artists will need big stage gear and props.

Chelsea or us? Wouldn’t be surprised if we are doing the same.

Yeah the Spurs hate is in the main those that want to beat Levy with something. The volume when Kane scored was impressive. It sort of reverberates as it bounces around the ground. If I had to pick another favourite it would be Cardiff where we played the semis. Would love a potential roof that we could close.

When they moved in and finished above us and the Derby games the acoustics were brilliant as was the atmosphere generated. I was in the away end for their opening game there against Man City and have attended all but one derby since they built it and its night and day compared to Roker park when I went 3 times. One of them being without any NUFC present.

Bit dismissive of Highbury and WHL when they have the very characteristics that you claim you’d lose from moving to a different ground from SJP. Both great grounds for character as is SJP. They needed to move and redevelop to progress. We do to 🤷🏼♂️ As for new grounds with great acoustics after several visits to each I’d definitely put forward Emirates and Spurs. Middlesbrough and Sunderland if you want something closer to home. West Ham’s new one however is everything you wouldn’t want in a football stadium.

Thats my thinking. We’ll have no legs for ET either… Think positive think positive 😆

You know X Some of them are thinking it’s the Mags+ membership they just ended also.

It’s kept them in touch with much bigger clubs is the way you have to look at it. They’d been struggling badly to afford modern day players with a 35k stadium without ridiculous ticket prices. Which I’d suggest although we know football isn’t a perfect science wouldn’t have allowed them to reach Europe regularly and occasional Top 4 recently now the rules are in place. With them probably wanting those rules more than anyone. Thats also with an owner and chairman both interested in money ahead of sporting glory. Levy took a £3m bonus ours were 2nd bottom of the table taking almost nothing. Their business model and our owners desire would be a match made in heaven theoretically. As we’d want to spend the maximum allowed to become No.1 whereas Spurs have the lowest players wage to turnover at 42%. Us being perilously high to to the UEFA limit of 70% at around 63%. Look at their ability to move in the market last few days of the window to address relatively short term issues (injuries) compared to ours. We are so lucky to have Howe in our predicament.
