On the documentary Gordon was signed as a RW if iirc?
-
People wanting to go with Pot 6 fans from Pot 4&5 or higher would’ve increased the numbers. Also didn’t account for people just queuing to be nosy. Also Pot 6 was probably the biggest multiple device pot as it would’ve been the touts with the multi memberships.
-
Yes but taking into account a lot of people will be queuing on behalf of others between 2-6 people the numbers aren’t that far off kilter and balance up. For example a family of four one of the parents might queue the once on a couple of devices but want four tickets once at front of queue. Not as many people as you think use multiple devices.

We don’t know as neither had a sustained run but from limited sample I’d agree regarding Barnes hence what lead me to my post. If you want Barnes in the team it must be the left IMO. If Gordon could improve on Murphy on the RW then so be it. The truth is Gordon is out of form so doesn’t start either side for me.

Who’s not able to attend?

In fairness they said “around” later first quarter which we’ve only just entered. Combination of getting it right as it’s a once in a lifetime decision and the difficulties involved in getting it right along with PIF being a very slow process driven organisation when it comes to important projects. Patience.

On the topic of Trippier it’s very clear if it wasn’t already he’s still the Captain in all but name. I love Bruno and made sense to have an automatic choice this season to be the captain but you only have to watch the match cam if you were in any doubt who the real leader is of the group.

Yep. Good luck with that 65K seater new stadium getting a ringing endorsement from fans. Last two years we’ve sold approximately 80-100k each season.

Get in touch with The Guardian. Or maybe the photographer. You can get me and @SteV and @MKSC some whilst you are at it

Can’t see the fans allowing it either. They’ll be moaning at the players from the first misplaced pass

Yep. Barnes LW & Gordon RW gives you more than Gordon LW & Barnes RW if that’s the two you go with IMO. Would think after that Gordon starts on the bench next game he’s available. He’s not exactly been great last month or so. See how Barnes does.

Loving this one…

What a day… What a weekend! Great to share it with so many friends. The Wembley experience this time round was night & day from minute one. Would’ve loved to of been able to of experienced it back home in Newcastle also. Hope everyone had a great day with their friends and family. As for the game I got a bit stick for saying Hall getting injured was a blessing in disguise. All though we will never know how it would’ve played out I just felt you stop Salah you go a long way stopping Liverpool and make it 10v10. With Tino being right footed it would match up well with an inverted winger and he’s more disciplined man marking and closing down. Burn played his part helping and my MOTM overall. Trippier probably my 1-20min MOTM as that calmness and experience helped build the defensive platform. We won the midfield battle and the forwards were great out of possession and were a massive threat with the possession they had and should’ve been rewarded with at least one more goal. As for the late goal it wouldn’t be NUFC if they didn’t make us suffer a little bit! So pleased for Howe. Hope it’s the start for the doubters realising what we’ve got with this man. Night ended 5am for me with thoughts as things died down of wondering what my dad would’ve been like. Lazy morning injecting the content ahead no doubt then train home and land in town around 5pm and soak it up for a few hours in the Bigg Market. Drinks on me if anyone in the vicinity. We did it!

Just for the record Local Hero is the name of the movie. Song is called Going Home. Always annoys me more that it ever should. Think it’s because I was such a big fan of the movie when it come out and so many of our fans have never even watched it

Always a chance of ticket if you know the right people who know the right people.
-
Last year it was said they are using Dortmund as one of the models for our club in general so I’d imagine they will of been impressed with the yellow wall.
-
Bad news for ticket prices if only 65K. 10k short than I expected unless they can increase in the future by adding a tier or converting seats to safe standing 3 for 2.
-
They need to appeal that as really all they need to do is restart from penalties if that footage is correct. Only thing I can think of is there is another angle him kicking it off his standing foot. Alvarez did look a little sheepish. Would break my heart losing like that in such a big game against your rivals.

So what’s everyone’s 1-11? What do you think EH will go with? How game will go? I’m thinking he will go same as WHU but might swap GKs weirdly. Think Barnes did enough to get nod over Willock just. Personally I’d want some pace and comfort on the ball at CH but with VVD can’t really risk leaving Burn out and no natural left sided replacement. Wouldn’t be surprised if Barnes isn’t working Isak plays slightly wider and Wilson enters the frame depending on scoreline. Willock fresh legs for Murphy and Isak swapping sides again. Can’t see Isak being subbed 1-90mins. Would’ve played Tino LB if Hall was fit regardless to snuff out Salah better than previous two games and try and make it a 10v10 game. Torn on the GKs. Heart says Pope as he missed last final but the way Liverpool attack Dubs agility and footwork might make more sense. Midfield picks itself but I feel to suite them we need to go front foot not back. Try and win it in 90mins as otherwise their subs will give them the edge 90-120. As for Pens I’d actually back us weirdly but not sure I could watch 🫣
