  1. I don’t think the refs do stop the clock for throw ins and goal kicks. Time keeping as a whole seems a joke and should be more transparent. For example Thaiw got injured in extra time long enough for me to walk down from my seat and nip to toilet and back without missing any action so I’m guessing 2mins at the bare minimum but most likely 3+mins. That period alone had a throw in that took an age as they messed about and a couple of goal kicks minimum which they delayed. The ref only added 2mins (minimum rember!) of added time yet blew the whistle and the stadium clock was on 1:58
  2. Said that at the game. Keepers get penalised for 8 seconds whilst one throw in nearly took a minute and a goal kick took around 45 seconds. 10 Seconds for each and 30 for free kicks.
  3. I agree. I’d play without a CF and play Ramsey in alongside Bruno, Joelinton and Tonali. Compact 4-4-2. or 4-1-3-2.
  4. Is this crowd noise being piped in? Crowd look stiff camera side (Real Madrid v Barcelona)
  5. That and pressure I’m guessing from players unions regarding restriction of trade. Anything to keep a lid on the Diarra case I suppose.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

But he doesn’t. Even the infamous back to back Forest and Luton spell he got skinned probably twice each game. Was just the usual Fannie’s overreacting to us not being perfect.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Of course he can. He’s done brilliantly there the majority of the time considering it’s probably not his favoured position. Tell me a FB who occasionally doesn’t get skinned a few times a season in any team

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Michu was brilliant. What happened there? Injury or lost his hunger? £
  9. Ramsdale not make more sense against Bournemouth? Very aggressive pressers yet very little aerial threat.

    Nick Woltemade

Which goes back to what I said that started this debate. The TEAM has been better for Nick than Nick has for the TEAM overall. It’s noticeable he suites the UCL much better for what it’s worth.
  11. I think you are being very kind on this occasion with the GK. As Barry Davies once commentated… “Look at his face.. just look at his face!”

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Wouldn’t say incredibly. Do feel he is overrated. Feel like Anderson is overrated also. Talk of both costing £80-100m each is madness to me
  13. Look at the Gks face. He knew he had droppped a clanger. Then the defender tells him to snap out of it so they can make the decision more convincing.
  14. Anyone care to have the pre and post Ronaldo records of OGS? @Froggy ?
  15. Didn’t OGS do really well until the club pushed the Ronaldo re-signing on him?

    Match Atmosphere

I think you’ve got to be fairer on that one and think of the broader (younger) demographic going to the match

    Match Atmosphere

The DJ really peed me off last night He made a lovely announcement regarding KK and in a beautiful organic moment the crowd began the “There’s only one KK…” chant only for him after about 20 seconds completely blast out Going Home at volume 11 and interrupt it as it was building around the ground As for the game it was a first for me spending 1st half in the Gallowgate then deciding to try the East Stand to change the teams luck for the second half. Night and day is all I can say. Even when there is no singing in the Gallowgate there is usually an atmosphere even if its ooo’s rrrr’s moans groans encouragement… East Stand is deadly quiet with an occasional chat between friends you can pick out quite clearly its that eerily well behaved. I was right on the half way line 8 rows from front (perfect view sadly for Schar likely last touch of the ball ever for us) and the old age of people was very noticeable as was their reaction to having someone more vocal sitting amongst them

    Nick Woltemade

That’s because we were breaking at pace and Murphy was able fire them in without having to delay by at times not even having to wait to look up knowing Wissa was keeping up. With Nick we stop and that forces us to do that passing triangle move to find the space wide for us to get a cross or pull back in. Rewatch the Willock miss from the last game and see how far behind the play he is before he reaches Willock to console him. He’s got to get in the box quicker and he’s got to get stronger so he can bully defenders. Otherwise we are not talking about small adjustments. Pleased he got an assist last night with nice lay off.
  19. The obvious ones are there is 9 games alone this month! 6 alone at home with 4 of them straight after Xmas. This is when the club will realise next time around prices need to be looked at hopefully. The weather wont help the fair weather supporters I agree but I do feel these 8:15KO are in particular to blame. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the club this morning have sent out invites to discuss how to make travelling to games (Home & Away) easier.
  20. There not empty seats 99/100. Just fans choosing to stand with their mates. Also because of the way the points system works you’ll not really catch up to the threshold as each game the regulars are gaining a point every away game.
  21. Was a awful lazy pass from Gordon forcing him to take on his weaker foot to be fair.
  22. Trying to defend him… I think he has it in his head that if he thinks he was fouled and it’s been missed VAR will go back to it. He certainly does that when fouled in the box. See for example the two West Ham penalties. It’s clear the longer a player stays down it attracts the attention of VAR. Not saying I’m a fan of it mind. Especially outside the box.
