It really isn’t man Re-read last years. There were always going to be ballots for each pot they just had no idea how big or small the pots would be hence they might need to ballot. This year they’ll of known where 95% of tickets were likely to go after Pot 1-3. The uncertainty of availability begins at Pot 4 hence that’s the first ballot. Good luck anyway and make sure card details are valid. A few have cocked up with out of date cards and not checked…

Their route to the cup was different with only 1 home game before the semis and have played a game less. Our next scheme will have to differ depending on the route to final. Also although it’s clearer I’d suggest they’ll have more regulars disgruntled the way they’ve decided to do it as seems virtually everyone luck of the draw almost. Their anger of course is appeased by how regularly they go to Wembley.

Last time they ensured there was tickets for each ballot because it was too difficult to split supporters into a handful of pots. Hence why they decided to introduce the Cup scheme to help distribute and lighten the admin load. Sadly the outcome of the scheme means the likes of @AyeDubbleYoo who are members only but have managed to win or queue successfully for each home game are highly likely to miss out badly. Personally I would’ve made the Cup Scheme factor applicable if you’d attended ALL the home games not PARTIAL allowing them to pick and choose their attendance. At most allow for 1 exchange but not 2’s and 3’s etc. I’d of also had members above ST holders not in the cup scheme. To contradict myself the only good thing the way they have done it is less abuse of tickets as members could literally be anyone at times due to how simple it was to purchase them.

Not sure why. It was clear if you read what was announced (just re posted). Was much better communicated this year as in 2023 they left many questions to be asked.

To me the happy medium is every ST holder and Member should have a Card that games get pre-loaded on to as the season progresses. Get rid the need for phones and wallets and email forwarding.

A reminder for those in doubt… HOW TO BUY Tickets will be sold online in priority periods based on specific criteria (details follow below) and supporters will be allocated to a designated 'pot' in line with their eligibility. Only one ticket per supporter can be purchased. Eligible supporters in Pots 1-3 will receive an email from the club by 6pm on Monday, 10th February to advise which pot they are in. Only if Pot 4 demand satisfied. People need to stop comparing this year to 2023. How they did it in 2023 is irrelevant. There is a cup scheme in place. Read the text from the Club and it was crystal clear. In short Pot 1-3 will get to select seats. Pot 4 ballot for leftover. Then if need be 5 then 6.

Will watch him more closely next time as so far he’s never caught my eye. Whats his strengths?

80’s was fun but had a bit of an ugly side to it to. 90’s- early 00’s probably peak for me.

Definitely think he’d be a great signing. A happy medium between Pope and Dubs with room to improve. I’d like to think he’d be behind an equally strong defence also.

The acoustics difference between Anfield and Spurs stadium is so noticeable after back to back games. Takes very little for the noise to reverberate around the Spurs ground.

Agree with you both. Said both points you made to my mate this morning. I feel Gordon is sticking to pre programmed patterns which I personally feel takes away a lot from his game as I preferred him with a more instinctive and aggressive approach and was willing to take whatever rough edges and discipline issues that brought to the table as we could rotate with Barnes. The other being his importance to the squad and pecking order. He’d definitely be the first id sell if needed to and I’d think easiest to replace. Wouldn’t mind Willock getting a run there at times personally. Anyway… Miley needs more minutes and trust.

Carra in the refs earpiece it seemed… “definitely not a yellow…” I know we shouldn’t get overly concerned about these things but surely Carra shouldn’t be commentating on Liverpool games. Clear conflict of interest and can set narratives and agendas to suite.

Wrong thread I know but to add to the conversation it’s pretty clear Willock benefits from playing alongside Joelinton and to be able to interchange. He’s not a midfielder. Also not the right thread but I feel Gordon is causing us structural problems all down that side of the pitch.

I’ve had a few visits there also and agree. Certainly in the upper tier where I’ve ended up most times. Thinking outside the box as needless to say we lost comfortably both times I feel the way City plays not very conducive to a great atmosphere. They kind of suck the life out of the opposition and its fans. As great as they obviously are. To back this up I managed to see the great Pep Barcelona team in its pomp at the Nou Camp. That was dull also. The lack of contact allowed these days and technical fouling etc is killing the enthusiasm bit by bit.

Not sure what the GK was doing there for that Liverpool goal.

We had a full run up to Fulham also and looked flat. Hopefully not a repeat this weekend 🤞🏻

Is he having to make any saves of note?

This is probably going against the general narrative but I wasn’t that impressed with the Birmingham fans. Maybe down to where I was stood in the away end but apart from the obvious build up and great start by scoring within a minute once we equalised and took control they were very quiet. Perked up before halftime when they equalised but second half with Sandro pulling the strings they were absolutely nothing special. Certainly nothing to aspire too TBH.

Not that I’m expecting us to win or was expecting another final appearance so quick for that matter but the concern I do have over the final that I didn’t expect is us just playing once a week. It doesn’t seem to of worked out as we expected so far. Liverpool have a big game midweek before the final.
