Because Burnley are desperate for money and Everton who are next closest to signing him have also asked for the buy out to be reduced/restructured as they are skint also. All we need to do is match or slightly improve the restructure that Everton are offering.

In defence of Watford it was his country’s fault for not submitting the paperwork in time iirc. So Watford stuck to the rules. Totally understandable in the position they were in.

As much as I agree I do think he’ll feel a certain responsibility to put out a strong mix of players for a 40K+ paying public. He’s in effect only got they 2 games to decide who starts against Forest. He’s not going to waste one of them playing a shadow squad for 90mins.

I’ve long thought many parents take their kids to the match far too early. Think I was 9 almost 10 when I went to a couple of games. Still felt a bit soon then to appreciate it all. Helped there was a lot less distractions then. No mobile phones, gaming or confectionery sales.

Wasn’t getting a regular game it seemed at Leicester and seemed to fall out the first eleven after breaking into it. EDIT: Read that as what not who ?

Never stood out much when I’ve watched Leicester. Especially against us. I’d like to think a £50m player would.

Good decision on pitch invaders. Quite like pyrotechnics TBH however. No way they can make them safer perhaps?

If you don’t want a great pub or nice walk and just want to be very close you can usually find somewhere free to parking going up west gate road turning left off St James Boulevard and decent for getting away. Plenty of paid parking in town centre also if you want but slower getting away if that’s important.

You could but seems a long way to park and have to get a train in. Plenty of places to park closer and overall cheaper. You could park at the Freetrade pub for example for free and enjoy a nice walk into town along the quayside.

Find it a bit odd how keen some are to see him offloaded. Let’s see how he does under a full season under EH. Some of you might have second thoughts. 5 subs this season so if nothing else he could change a game. Flair wingers will always be infuriating at times but it’s great when someone gets you out your seat also.

The other factor is knowing which clubs need money. The Botman deal worked well for all 3 parties. Ekitikie are extremely low wages. Similar with Harrison like I’ve already said. Diaby I’ve no idea how serious that was other than an enquiry and getting quoted twice the price we were willing to pay it seemed. Can’t see much movement this week ahead of the friendlies but time will tell. Who do you think we’ll sign?

So maybe a suggestion there is very little truth in some of them. Harrison on low wages and 24 month left the most realistic. Others just smokescreens whilst we look elsewhere.

They don’t. They get their info from the agents. If the feedback is that is far as they are willing to pay for each of their targets then assumptions are made from there. People need to look at the contract situation of who we are interested in not just the ability of the player. That’s what is determining our evaluations. A lot of details like release clauses etc will be unknown to the general fan.
