    Match Atmosphere

The issues I’ve heard trotted out surely now covered with the 2 match exchange per season they’ve introduced recently.

Whats ultimately disgraceful about them? If ultimately it leads to those who’ve bought them are those that go and stops touting.

Not dissing NUSC but they do have a habit of taking credit for and making noise about very little on occasions. It was LNER who put on the extra train and NUSC secured the grand total of zero tickets for its “paying” members. They also booked a boat trip pre Brentford which left a mad dash to make it for KO with their supporting advice being “get a taxi”. Their European endeavours have been good especially Dortmund. NUST i feel has been very good this last 12 months with daily and informative updates via their WhatsApp group. A massive improvement when before it was it seemed an extension of True Faith with the makeup of it board then. Costing me literally nothing (£10 for lifetime membership which I’ve had several years now. Some of the comments about them are sadly very ignorant. Especially the they should do this or that when it seems no time has been taken to find out if they have already or the effort to become a member and request them to as they are after all a conduit to our needs only. Not some professional governing body despite having to be legally formed and ran correctly.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

More our profile i feel. So is the Bournemouth lad but i think Liverpool will go for him in the summer if Salah leaves.
  5. Thats because it was postponed for high winds not snow

    St James' Park

It have a different feel being in Newcastle rather than the metropolis that is London. We’ve locals willing to fill it. Spurs extra attendance from afar is very much built on players like Son playing for them. Not that it bothers me personally. Latest financial figures shows how much we need to move on. Unless you want to go backwards that is and stay parochial.
  7. Also the clue is in the original name of the rule. Too many handballs given for hitting the arm. Probably should revert to the actual hand. Remember that second half against PSG. All they did was spent their time kicking against our arms until they got a penalty.
  8. He was adding on the 2mins he cut short when we played Liverpool

    Will Osula

    This. His time will come.
  10. VVD on Gordon? Was nothing like it. VVD ran into him deliberately (penalty and a red) whereas today Gordon turned into Kula. No pen. Unfortunate collision.
  11. Time for some fresh legs for us. Not sure who.
  12. Take that at HT. Leggy as feared against Spurs fresher legs but kept our heads after falling behind so early. Think Maddison will have joy against us if brought on. Our midfield looks in a flat line again. Burn will have to be careful this half. Wonder if Spurs will target him with the ref.
  13. Not handling Solanke physically as I feared. Midfield has yet to get into any rhythm. Decent start by Spurs. Joelinton already walking a bit of a tightrope. Botman looking like a player who’s been out a year.
  14. Harsh but could’ve happened as their chances were big ones just before the break. Fell we lost our way after Tonali miss a bit. Possibly though I thought we tired last 30mins. One thing Spurs have over us today apart from home advantage is fresher legs you’d think.
  15. You’ve clearly not read either of my posts on this
  16. You say tons. I say we missed only 2 so that’s only 4 chances all game. Man Utd had as many but didn’t take them. Yes we dominated them in midfield for 30mins but didn’t cut them up as it’s been perceived. Houjland (spelling) Casimero 1st half. Maguire post and Leno free header 2nd.
  17. Not sure of the result but have a feeling Osula will score if given 15+mins. My only real/minor questioning of EH has been how long he’s been keeping Isak on the pitch these last few games.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Personally feel Mbueno is a non starter for us. Out of the age/fee/salary categories he only ticks the salary box. No way we’ll pay the fee rumoured for someone turning 26 as the 25/26 season starts. Time we maybe would’ve picked him up was if available when we went for Harvey Barnes a year and an half ago who’s just turned 27 which i still think has been our only indulgent signing but probably justified with the all the expected fixtures the previous season. Annoying he got injured and missed most of it when we were at our bare bones. That and the Tonali suspension really screwed our roadmap of 23/24.
  19. RB - Conor Bradley CH - Quansah GK - Mama (Georgian) LB - Tsmimikas All fine with only the LB that they will maybe look to upgrade on. Liverpool have a lot of good youngsters also.
  20. Yep. It’s about individual match ups. I love Trippier but Son has had his number in the away games. Solanke who missed the home game (?) has been a handful if nothing else when we’ve faced him against Bournemouth and scored a few times. Kula is in form and I’ll hold my hands up has played to levels this season i wasn’t sure he had in him. Maddison as much as I’m not a fan will cause us problems because all number 10’s seem to. Johnson is a flip of the coin but in fairness to him he’s come up facing the right way this season. We win if Spurs shoot themselves defensively AND we turn up. Going to be a great watch regardless hopefully.
  21. I disagree slightly. I think we’ve taken most our chances. Yes we could’ve had 1-2 more each game but most importantly we’ve took the chances that mattered at the right times of each game. Only really the Tonali miss i thought would come back us and bite us which it should’ve if Man Utd took their two big chances that followed it end of first half. We all see the game differently which is what makes it a great talking point but despite 30mins of dominance you couldn’t have argued if HT it was 2-2. Mainoo’s introduction swung the game completely with them having the best of the last 15 and large parts of the second half. We can’t hand Spurs forward line the chances we did against Man Utd. We’re we probably both agree is that Isak needs to sort out his clear 1v1’s as something has got into his head to try and be too clever especially over his time here beginning with his home debut against Bournemouth. Feels odd criticising such a great player for us but it’s the area on the training pitch and his mentality I’d be working on with him the most. Similar to Gordon. Wilson is still the best 1v1 finisher at the club so you can see why EH rates so highly.
