  1. Just got my season ticket renewal through for 2012/13!!! A bit sharp!...
  2. I did exactly that a few weeks ago and sadly found the whole experience a bit dull... The tempo of the football and the atmosphere in the Nou Camp was poor with the ground full of sight-seers like myself ... Mind you it was bloody freezing!... Might be a different story for a bigger game but there's nothing like following your own team...
  3. I see Glen Johnson has reignited the whole handshake affair... Doh!

Great post... Too many fans these days think football is an exact science...

Debuchy? would be a great signing he really impressed me against Germany the other week, i know Cabaye absolutely raves about him. I believe his agent has started talks with Valencia today...
  8. Was fantastic for his previous club to them and always hoped we'd sign him when linked with a few years ago... Got a bad knee injury iirc but looks back to his best now

    Chris Waddle

He stopped his car and chatted to me roadside prior the game against Shef Wed (Ginola Beardsley)... Down to earth and wished us luck and confirmed he was out of the game with an injury... Like others have said was class for Marseille...

AP was full of praise for HBA post match... "Best 45mins for the club" amongst other comments including admiting he may of got it wrong today... Reading between the lines I wouldn't be surprised if he starts next few games...
  11. He's just done a podcast on RMC.fr with Luis Fernandez...
  12. The Fox is ok... Mixed crowd normally and nowt flash but friendly...

The NAMBLA Stadium? Thought it was pretty common knowledge that their ground is being re-named "The Invest In Africa Stadium"... Is this still going ahead or has the deal fell through?...
  14. Santon and Cisse probably the only 2 that come out with any credit after Saturday... Not changed my opionion though... Needs to be playing on the right..
  15. http://english.templebarbcn.com/ Was there a couple of weeks ago to see Cisse score his first goal... It shows a lot of different matches and thankfully our next 6 are televised...
  16. We haven't torn any apart all season, what makes you think we will today? Agree. We've - for example - only won 3-0 against Man Utd. What a shame. We where very good yes, but we didn't tear them apart. Wolves have a very good recent away record as well including draws against Arsenal and Spurs. Think people are in for a bit of a shock this afternoon expecting us to batter these like. Said the same myself earlier in the thread... Happily take a narrow win now...
  17. The Union Rooms (Wetherspoons) is handy for the train station... Is it likely to be quietish the night of a derby though, or full of roaring drunk maniacs? Love eating and drinking in the Town Wall at the moment, just opposite central up Pink Lane. Whats the town wall like and where is it? And again, what sort of atmosphere will it be on the eve of the derby? Cheers Should be more laid back than places like the gate or Weatherspoons. More expensive mind. Their website has a map etc. Always got a canny selection of beers on. http://www.thetownwall.com/ Food's only served till 7pm on Saturday though. I'd agree with the Town Wall, or The Forth which is opposite. What time does it serve food till on saturdays? (the forth) Monday to Saturday: Noon - 10pm / Sunday: Noon - 9.30pm Laaavely. Cheers mate. Just a small point... Don't forget the match is on Sunday lunchtime... So places like The Forth & The Town Wall will be busy on a Saturday night mainly with "drinkers" rather than "diners" as I'd class them both as primarly bars not pubs and especially being the first weekend after pay day... As much as I like both it wouldn't be my choice to eat that evening. Better off going to Grey/Dean Street for a quieter meal or like i said before upstairs in Wetherspoons (The Union Rooms)... Nice one, any recomendations on Grey/Dean street? Thanks for all the replies fellas. There's loads... Spanish/Italians/Indian/Chinese/English...Depends on what you fancy... If you want to eat in a bar rather than a restaurant then maybe Barluga... The grub looked lovely and you can eat upstairs or amongst the crowd... http://www.barluga.co.uk/
  18. Dear oh dear... "Complete r" was the answer I was looking for...

  20. Lets not forget Wolves last four aways results... Including draws at Arsenal and Spurs along with their perforance against us earlier in the season... People predicitng 4''s and 5's might be in for a bit of a surprise especially when we haven't exactly been free-scoring this season... Will take another narrow win now if offered...
  21. Would be nice, but iam sold on Mbwia and helluva more likely considering his rep and price tag and his style compliments Colo better than Vertonghen tbh. Infact Vertonghen smacks of someone considering style and price who would be a Colo replacement than a Colo partner. Like i said earlier in this thread there is very little chance of Vertonghen coming here unless we finish top 4... He's said himself he's looking for CL and the dutch correspondant on TS politely disimissed him coming here for that very reason...

The Town Wall is nice but I wouldn't be put off by comments reference The Union Rooms as its so big and food is on the top floor which is out the way of any hustle and bustle...

    Other clubs' transfers

He's hardly getting games for them anyway so don't think he would be missed. Arsenal fans aren't so fond of him either. He seems to play most times I see them and their squad is getting thinner by the week it seems... He's had a poor 18 month but wonder if he'd be worth a go as a number 10...
