  1. I'll show my face for a couple of beers... As a means to an end you should email Ryder about it if you want to get the word out further...
  2. Unfortunately, the word 'generally' stand out like a sore thumb to me. The writer of the emailed covered themselves with that. Surely it's the "must meet the necessary safety criteria" line that's the biggest problem... None of them do or can now be made to be according to the manufacturer...

Yeah as long as you're house trained...

All the info required is on the previous page...
  5. If QPR get humped again at the weekend off Sunderland then he might have 2nd thoughts and join us if we are the only offer on the table but can't see it myself...
  6. How big is the original image you have? I couldn't see anything bigger than 400pixels. Seemed small. I just used the one from the first page of the protest thread as a tester; I'd imagine it'd look terrible blown up from that though like. Unless it's high res, the image on the shirts would look terribly pixellated. Who created the original image? Or, could someone knock up a re-creation? Just for the record the HBA banner is quite pixelated so probably a problem with the source image...
  7. How about a selfie with both the banners in the background... https://www.wongafootball.com/nufc/fan-mural
  8. Who's the lad who looks like the daft lad out of Mrs Brown's Boys? He also looks like he's pissing milk. That would be me undercover...
  9. Nah...... Sounds like you want a free ticket to me
  10. You've just read my mind... You sure your not the club spy!
  11. Lessons learnt when ordering banners... 1. Make them fire retardant 2. Don't make them too big
  12. That would've been me (see above) so don't get paranoid about club spies...
  13. I've just rang them and bad news... Unless they were asked to be made fire retardant in the first place then they won't be now... Also they are PVC so you can't now make them fire retardant... Also different stadiums ask for different specs so if you were to do a new banner you will need to know the standard from NUFC that they expect... Baring in mind this conversation took place with no order reference etc but he did add he'd not done any fire retardant banners for over 5yr so pretty safe to say these don't and never can meet the standard required...
  14. Outside should never be a problem as long as they are not inciting anything as only the police would hold any sway on things... What's your plans this week? If you want to check out the other banners we can sort something... I am working the next two weekends but would really like it up before he is sold The quotes one might be a better shout but I need to get the HBA one to a shop to prove its fine proof. Where did we get it? I have put plenty work it if someone could take it this weekend or next? We need to know where the shop is they were made and opening times... Then I might be able to help...

  16. No probs... I must warn you if you think the Hope banner is big then you've not seen anything yet with the "Team that Tries" banner as its very long! If however you mean the club quotes that is a nice size and should fit most places... Probably would recommend something like this to protect it VVV http://www.fireproofspray.co.uk/flametect-nitro-for-synthetic--naturals-60-p.asp
  17. I'll have two of them if anybody is knocking them out...
  18. According to the stewards no reason why not. But I wont be going unless its guaranteed I can put it up. Yeah I can't see it being allowed, Ben Arfa suggesting "hide it in your hoody" ain't gonna work either tbh The problem is it's size ultimately... When I first unfolded it I was surprised by how big it is otherwise I would've suggested putting it where the Santon banner lay in the Strawberry Corner...
  19. I actually took my beret today but left it in the car...
  20. Yes... It reminded me a little of this...
  21. In his defence there was a slightly embarrassing attempt to attach the banner to the cricket board initially which involved Santoon on the shoulders of Slim (or was it the other way round?!) with a ball of string... For once I would've agreed with the officials if they'd claimed the banner was going to cause a H&S issue...
  22. Good to have you back on board... Apologies my opening line today was "have you put on weight?" I wear 28inch waist jeans FFS. But nah I don't mind like. I did try and make amends by saying maybe it's the longer hair...

  24. One of the funniest parts of the day was when the Steward asked what the banners said and after showing her them we agreed to compromise and just go with the HBA banner... She went on her walkie-talkie and said "they are just hanging the HOPE banner... They've said they won't put the Pardew is Hopeless banner up..." Cue that message being relayed amongst all the other stewards!
