Was planning on going to WBA this season... Sweet...

They already do, £9 for NUFC ST holders. Cheers... Out of interest how much is full price!?... I'm guessing more than a tenner!?...
-
I'd consider going if they move the ground opposite the Civic Centre as planned... They should look to give discounts to NUFC ST holders... That could boost the numbers and generate some interest... As it stands it's too expensive to support one football team let alone two...

Isn't that figure distorted by how many 'fans' were arrested after the Sunderland, the majority of whom the police confirmed had not even attended the match? That's what i was thinking... I think 130 got pinched that day so that would leave us mid-table at the 45 mark... The data seems to include 29 arrests from the Sunderland match. [Newcastle United recorded the highest number of arrests with 175 during the 2012-13 Premier League season - 114 of these being for violent disorder. Earlier this year football supporters clashed with police resulting in 29 arrests after a match between Newcastle and Sunderland in which Newcastle lost 3-0. The violence which included a fan punching a police horse was described by one officer as "the worst rioting I have seen in the city centre in decades."] http://www.theguardian.com/news/datablog/2013/oct/09/football-related-arrests-by-club-offence http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/newcastle-united-top-premier-league-6164147 According to this the majority were made at the derby match with only 15 being made at away games...

The club doesn't make any money from food and drink game to game... MA outsourced the contract iirc so just gets a fixed figure per season i believe...

Pardew confirms Goodison summit During Thursday afternoon's pre-match press call, United boss Alan Pardew admitted that a post-match meeting took place at Goodison Park on Monday night between himself, Mike Ashley and JFK: "It's important to go to see the owner after a game like that and make sure that we know where we are coming from. "We had a good meeting after - me, Mike and Joe - just to make sure we know exactly what is going on on the pitch and what's going on in terms of the results. "There was nothing untoward there." The phrase "vote of confidence" wasn't aired. from NUFC.Com a few moments ago...

Someone on TS spotted Stuart Pearce outside their ground shaking hands with a club official... Possibly just BS...
-
Is he the ex Wales coach who called Moyes prehistoric?...
-
He's a striker... Did he miss any chances?...
-
Shearer was brilliant in the air too... Again no giant... Ferdinand had greater hang time which give him the edge...
-
More like Alan Thompson and Alistair Darling...
-
He was on Total Sport tonight... Did anybody catch what he had to say?... No doubt on iPlayer soon...

Man City with three great goals out of nothing...

Laudrup oozes class... Sees the game very clearly...

Loved the little turn at the by-line in front of the dugouts...
-
Just got in after managing to avoid the result until tonight... Stated in pre-match thread AP would surprise a few on here with his team selection... Seemed to play some canny stuff on the extended highlights... Lets hope he goes with the same eleven next week...
-
I've a funny feeling you'll be pleasantly surprised today... Hope I'm right...

MYM can defo match him for pace. Think Taylor would be more likely to get to a header tbh. When people in the media talk about our front line, they always go on about how much pace they have. I don't get it. Agbonlahor, yes, obviously, but Benteke and Weimann aren't particularly pacy. Weimann is pretty rapid... Benteke less so but no slouch...
