I like the idea of Jonas in a midfield 3. I think his energy and possitive dribbling would be good for the side. However I'm not sure this would be my starting midfield, I have Barton with Cabaye and Tiote. I don't really rate Jonas as a winger too much as I think he feels he has too much time and tries to do a bit too much so hopefully the new lad (I'm not gonna attempt to spell his name!) ends up being a good signing alongside Ben Arfa behind Ba. Jonas will be adequate cover for a number of positions I think. Deffinately need anorther striker though. With cureent squad we could get 10th atleast. If we can make a few decent signings in key positions and maybe a top 8 finish is on the cards. Quite ecited to see what the window has in store...

I'd prefer us to have players with talent on the pitch than be good in the dressing room. E.g. Cabaye > Nolan

I have moaned about Jonas and Nolan all season, its more a case of squad depth that I find worrying. So I guess aslong as they are replaced there shouldn't be any real problem.

Thinking about it, I honestly don't think we have a player who is quite captain material. I would say Colo but I don't like the idea of having a captain that can't speak English (if its true that he can't).

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know how the CONCACAF World Cup qualifying works? I'm currently playing it on FIFA as Canada. I won't my 1st group of 4 and am now in a group of 6. Are there any more qualifying games after this group? How many teams qualify?

I hope he stays, I know he's generally dogshite but he's the only midfield player in our team that can score goals. Plus I have no faith in our board to actually replace him. I'd be suprised if we managed to sign Gervinho, Gameiro or N'zogbia tbh, maybe I'm just pessimistic. . .

I think I'd go for Tevez and Nasri. I can see it going to Vidic and Wilshere though.

Barton and Tiote have been incredible this season and I can't imagine how we would have coped without them. However, due to consistency throughout the season and importance to the team it has to go to Colo for me. Nolan gets an honourable mention purely due to the importance of his goals, but he has become a liability in a few too many games.

Remember being impressed with him a few seasons back. Was good when we played blues in the FA cup and was quality when they thumped us in the replay. Not the quickest but hard working and has decent end product from the little bits of seen of him on other games. Would be pleased with this signing if true.

Jonas is unpredictable in a good way I think. In that opposition defenders dont know what to expect from him. He plays a massive role in this team and I woud personally be very worried if we lost him through injury or something.

I chose West Brom because there my local team and a lot of my best mates support them and Tottenham, I used to hate them but I like the way they have got success without using a billionaire. I used to like West Ham because of the way they sent Sheff Utd (Well Neil Warnock) down.
