If our players would stay and Mike signed a monster cb to partner colo aswell as a decent striker(s) we coukd genuinky be a realy tasty side next season (onviosly with Ben Arfa joining back up, and potentialya rejuvinated Ireland).
-
He's one f the best direct fk takers in the league tbf. Never feel confident with Barton taking a strike on goal from a dead ball

Liverpool I could understand, whethere people like it or not they are seen as one of the biggest clubs in the world. Not quite what they were but it would take more than a couple of mediocre seasons for people to start mentioning them in the same breath as the clubs there currently around. villa on the other hand are no bigger than Newcastle, infact Newcastle are probably bigger in every way bar historical success.

Villa man ffs

Decent cover tbf, and definatly a better option than Perch on the bench. Would be tempted to bring him in the last 10 minutes if we win a free kick and need a goal to be honest.

After the way the Arsenal fans went on after the 4-4 I hope Barcelona smash the twisty French tarts all over.
-
I would say we were pretty entertaining but aren't exactly stylish, we have Colo, Enrique, Jonas and Tiote who have played some neat stuff this season, whith Barton also technicaly been outstanding, but we've never been an Arsenal-esque free flowing side (but who has). SJP has seen the most goals in the league this season though, so it's probably the stadium to watch if your a neutral.

Where are these figures from? Mine say 28 games cup games not count nowerdays like

I can see your point but I think it's justified to show people up for their stupidity when they take an extreme view. I think most people's extreme views were in the heat of the moment after Hughtons sacking, and/or just taking the piss to be honest. Most extreme views are.

Would probably have took Johnson before I'd witnessed Best and Lovenkrands spit roast him.

Pissing myself at that site like

Would look even better with a genuine power-house (gaybar wooooooo!) defender next to him, I rate Williamson, he's pretty solid and certainly worthy of a place in our squad, but he can certainly be improved upon.

You must be well into your dotage if you thing Hughton is particularly 'young'. Pardew's younger. /fwiw angry about the circumsances but wished Pards all the best somewhere in the thread Crumpy's dug up iirc although I look daft you know what I mean, Hoots was a 'learning his trade' would have been better like
-
Yeah hats off to our groundstaff, but if they can do it then so should the rest, you dont need charlie dimmock to look after a field of grass. And Wigans was absolutely shocking, but they have the excuse of the egg chasers sharing the pitch. Birminghams is either just sheer lazyness or a tactical thing.
-
Hughton was still young and learning though, and seemed to be learning quick. Pardew is obviosly the more experienced, and probably the better manager, but Hoots probably wasn't the finished article.
-
Dont get me wrong I love it when he skins the winger, then sets off play going forward with Jonas, it's just when he's at a serious disadvantage but still opts to play his way out. Suppose it just comes with the package like and he certainly makes up for the odd time he does lose the ball.

As much as I love the handsome Spanish bastard I realy wish he would just boot the fucker if he's crouded out near the cornerflag.

Just been over RTG and apparantly Sunderland are an exelent attacking team who play it nicely along the deck, and Newcastle are a bunch of hard to beat scrappers, which of course explains why we have scored 42 and conceded 38, and Sunderland have scored 33 and conceded 33.
