Not really, it's always been like this with Dummett. He gets pelters because he's awful on the ball but with him in the side we mirraculiously stop been torn to shreds every time a team runs down the left wing or targets the back post. He's not a great left back but until he's replaced (or if Lewis is actually good) then not playing him leaves us wide open defensively on the left.

Dummett's been our best left back for like half a decade or something. Until we sign someone else I cannot see why we wouldn't play him there.

Was probably a bit of a baptism of fire for him like The way Arsenal pressed us until they got their 2nd is probably what he will be hoping from us (and might have been expecting it to a degree today) but we just don't have the players for it.
