Like how he played Lascelles all last season when Lascelles was injured and Lascelles admitted he played through injury? Rafa is great but he's not perfect. I don't think there was any risk of the injury worsening last season, it was just painful for Lascelles. I don't think Rafa would have played Lascelles in this game if he believed there was any great chance of him going off injured like. Hopefully the reports of him running off are true, I really cannot be fucked with us shipping about 8 goals to Swansea.

Tbf it's a bit of an anomaly for us after Pardver et al. If you can't take joy in a comfortable win what's the point? There's taking joy and there's telling people they must fucking cheer up over their concern of a potential injury of our key player because we're also dicking Luton Town

It's pretty hard to be happy with the uncertainty of our most important player looming over your head like Rafa is big on fitness so he wouldn't have made the decision to play him lightly I'd imagine, and this could have happened in any game, so statistically it's not even like playing him was going to up his chances of being injured considerably, but still it's fucking shit news - just hope it's precautionary.

So when we start the kids people complain were not taking the cup seriously, play a full strength team and people complain still. Rafa can't win Its great to take the cups seriously, but not when you are fighting relegation with a supposed Championship squad and have no budget to change it. Begging for a key injury, and we got it. Plus we rotated a lot over Christmas in the league and were fine. Our squad is shit but it's consistently shit. There's basically Lascelles on the teamsheet and then you can just throw darts for the rest.

The amount of soft goals Hart has let in this season I would honestly be more comfortable with Darlow. He's been completely useless.
