  1. great news if true. Glad to be massively wrong about Shelvey. Thought there was absolutely no chance of it being overturned. So aye, I think that Forrest game can go down as one of the worst refereeing performances ever, like. They shouldn't officiate another league game again.
  2. Stifler's always good for a strip club tale.
  3. Only watched highlights of Barnsley but I get the same feeling. Looks good on the ball and seems to play deeper than I expected. Would have to ask Barnsley fans like as this is like a total of about 5 minutes of footage
  4. It's the ridiculous case of a player starting something to cause another player to bite and not being punished for aggravating the situation. It happened in our favour with Lascelles v Hull tbf though, minus the theatrics. The FA just don't have previous of punishing it, but have a strict stance on any kind of violent outburst. Lansbury's kick to the back of Shelvey's legs just doesn't look as bad, I suppose. The rules are a bit daft and have always favoured little cunts like Lansbury, but it's hard to argue that Shelvey's ban should be rescinded.
  5. Err, I've never said this like He literally said a week or so ago that he was wanting to try Mitrovic out with Gayle. My issue, if I've got one, would be people saying he's too reserved and that we'd be blowing teams out the water if we switched to 4-4-2. This despite us being top of the league and the league's highest scorers playing the system that Rafa's played since Valencia (?) It's always worked for him and if he thinks it's what we're best playing with at the moment I'm not going to argue.
  6. makes it sound like a brutal exchange.
  7. That's a cracking excuse to have in the locker like.
  8. This is like asking McDonalds to change the recipe of their fries.
  9. Aye pretty much nowt, don't think anything has changed since even the ridiculous Rivaldo incident. Play acting is pretty much encouraged. Easy enough to argue it was just a stumble too for Dummett's red.
  10. I agree with that. It's this number 10 position that's the most problematic. I don't even think Diame has been bad but we can upgrade him pretty easily tbh. What he's shown so far anyway.
  11. We've scored 37 goals this season, if we'd went 2 strikers we'd have scored FOUR HUNDRED MILLION.
  12. Full time, only a point lost then with Reading getting battered too. Not as bad as it could have been.
  13. Forrest were awful, but it was pretty impressive how we nullified them despite the ease of which they could switch play and how difficult it was for us to clear our lines as every ball hit past the halfway line fell to a Forrest player. We didn't even look uncomfortable until the last 10 minutes or so when we got a bit cagey. 2nd half was basically something you'd expect to see with 11v11 Everton vs Burnley or summit.
  14. I think in some games we've smothered teams early on and then took our foot off the gas as the opposition struggles to trouble us. A few games we've looked pretty insipid in the first half and then come out in the 2nd and grabbed a goal or 2 pretty comfortably. I agree we don't look like a massively dangerous side, like Liverpool for example, but I always expect us to be able to grab a couple of goals. Statistically it's working too.
  15. We're all frustrated man Neesy, it's been a shocking week, but Blackburn aside we've looked like the same team that are comfortably the top scorers in the league.
  16. He's been fine and was in no way at fault for either of those goals
  17. i don't that's clear at all personally, if you watch it from the other side of the pitch angle you see he hardly lashes out at all, it's barely a movement tbh His left leg kicks back like. It's pretty clear. 39 minutes I think, Nobody. EDIT: I'm not saying he meant it like that like, maybe it's just a consequence of him being tangled up I dunno. But I'd be surprised if the FA see it any other way. Just seen it, cheers. Awful decision Dummett's red card, does the ref not even know the rules? Darlow's booking, he's walking back to the line as he is booked, what in the actual fuck is going on there? It's hillarious The ref books him for stretching down before walking back to the net, something which just about ever keeper does. As he's doing it the ref points back to the goal to say "get in there", so takes Darlow's action as dissent or something and books him. I bet he's a proper little grass in real life.
  18. Anyway just watched the Sky highlights, that Darlow yellow is fucking laughable There's been a lot of talk this season about us being wise to referees, laughing and joking with them to sweeten them up etc. This seems a clear case of some no mark coming out to show he's boss, that he'll not be swooned by the big boys. Just an utter joke of a performance.
