We're 9/1 on BET365 I mean I know we're shit but those odds are ludicrous.
-
This one.
-
3 weeks in a row
-
Maybe those in charge didn't see anything either so not really worth giving him a chance. Those guys really do know what they're doing.
-
Anyone with sense would have Abeid over Colback man, even if the only reason for that was to ensure Colback isn't a mainstay in the centre for the next 5 years. Abeid could be fucking dogshite and we'd still be a better club for it.
-
Urgh, I'd have been massively suprised if he wasn't a better fit in centre mid than Anita and Colback. Not a chance McClaren even knows his ability either given that he's started the first 2 games here with Obertan ahead of Perez and Aarons.
-
Let's hope Dortmund can even things up.
-
Where the fuck were these articles from the BBC when he was here like?
-
I'm assuming people who drew their opinions of him from the glowing testimonials he recieves from his mates on TV.
-
tbf, every fan base has seemingly had the period where they were like "We can change him. It'll be different this time!" It's because it's so fucking obvious what he should be doing that you expect it to fall into place by trial and error. But no, 'it's 5 weeks on now and we're still starting Ryan Taylor over Hatem Ben Arfa'. The man's severely brain damaged.
-
Yep, everyone but Reading fans think he's absolutely shite.
-
Mind when he does fail and the Palace fans do turn on him, we have to reverse our tact and laugh at what a bunch of thick, deluded prats they are and point to how Pardew once finished 5th in Premiership.
-
It's a decent bet that tbf, not a chance he's lasting 90 minutes.
-
That's fucking tragic
-
he was meant to be a creative player but was providing nothing. He was therefore benched and the guy who came in set up a couple of goals and then Scored the goal that got us our first win Aye joke to bench him though Yeah because us going 7 games without a win was Cabella's fault.
-
Disagree with you on that. Actually the opposite where players with potential leave us and don't fulfill their promise. Bit of both in my opinion. Vianna, Luque, Cabella et al..we have our share of guys with reputations simply not cutting it at the club to varying degrees, as well as some (fewer in my opinion) who have left us and then realised there potential sand some who simply flop everywhere. Either way we have a very weak record in developing players. Not too many in recent years have gotten better with us... Wish the lad luck. Tidy and tricky player undoubtedly but think he was maybe too slow/ dwelt too long on the ball for PL? Hope he does well in his career. These 3 would have failed wherever they went in the Premier league, just not good enough physically. Viana was a bairn when he joined us and only in his early 20s when he left, there's nowt wrong with him physically. Not sure on Cabella mind, I don't think he was a write off by any stretch of the imagination.

I don't think it's as basic as that like. He cannot expect to play Obertan, Colback and Anita as 3 of a 5 man midfield and expect us not to be bummed into oblivion, no matter how he wants us to play.
