Hard to explain. They have a big stadium but can't fill it and can't create an atmosphere. If it wasn't for Wenger they would probably be have ended up just being a team in the Premiership to make the numbers up or even worse. People think Man Utd collapsed when SAF left, thats nothing to how Arsenal will end up when Wenger goes. Please stop talking.

Flamini played deepest for them that day didn't he? Probably, Rosicky was in CAM though. I don't literally mean Wilshere sits in the centre circle spraying balls about, Gerrard doesn't do that either.

He played there earlier in the season against us, although I don't think he was that great.

From Arsenal's official twitter account. Arsène says: "His best position is as a deep-lying midfielder, where he can be a distributor. He has a good burst and vision" #AskArsene I wouldn't say he's def an advanced player, he can play across the midfield and it's always going to be his job to get forward but I'd definitely prefer us with someone else behind the strikers and on the wings, and I don't really want us playing both Gerrard and Wilshire in the centre either.

Most deep lying playmakers are forward thinking, in-fact it's sort of mandatory I cannot see the purpose of playing him anywhere else on the pitch as we have players better suited, Barclay and Sterling being 2 of them.

Both are better as deep lying play-makers, or at least we have players better suited to playing in other areas of midfield.

Barkley should probably play ahead of Wilshere. Like Ronny said, it's pointless playing him and Gerrard.

Who would he choose instead though? There aren't any Liverpool players in the side who play central defence? Cahill starts automatically and the only other central defenders on the plane are Jagielka, Jones and Smalling which Jagielka is comfortably ahead. We know the back 5, Rooney, Gerrard and probably Sturridge, the rest is anyone's guess.
