Cannot wain until that vindictive prick in the dugout fucks off like.

A Gerrard equliser followed by a Tyler on air orgasm is pretty much guaranteed.

Err, I did Ricki Lambert scores goals, aye, but he's no where near as effective as top players like Sturridge. You are the one who started comparing Tiote to players from the best side in the league though, not me. "Look at Gerrard and Henderson, they're mint them, there musn't be any place in the game for people who cannot recycle the ball like them" Ramires is a far better player than Tiote, but his game certainly doesn't revolve around "controlling the ball" which was my point, he's in the Chelsea side because of his defensive contribution. Anyway I'm getting sidetracked, Tiote isn't an anachronism, he's not a great footballer by any means but there's a place for him in our side until we sign someone better, and they don't necessarily have to be a Gerrard or Henderson type, although being better on the ball would obviously help.

You do realise they play completely different roles right. Anita and colback in mid? Weak as piss. And I like Anita Liverpool have played Gerrard and Henderson in CM for the past ten games. They've won them all. The days of 'strong' central midfielders who can only tackle and contribute nothing offensively are done. Players like Tiote are an anachronism. These kind of comments always amuse me, there's more than 1 way to play the game. I don't massively like Tiote or anything, but he's a solid defensive midfielder. Yet every good team in every decent league are gravitating towards a style of play that revolves around controlling the ball. Who's the defensive hardman playing for Real or Barca or Bayern or Liverpool or City? They have central midfielders who are good passers of the ball, first and foremost, and then they look for athleticism and the ability to control space. They don't have guys running around kicking players right, left and center, conceding stupid fouls and contributing nothing to the attacking play. We aren't Real or Barca or Bayern or Liverpool or City though, and neither are the very vast majority of clubs in world football. That's not to say we shouldn't aspire to be, but if we are we're going to need a lot more than "players who can control the ball." We need genuine top class players, regardless of what talents make them such. I realise you missed Chelsea off your little list though, you know, Champions League semi-finalists and 2nd in the league? Playing Ramires who this season just likes to run around the pitch kicking people. The fact is both Gerrard and Henderson are better players than Tiote. Daniel Sturridge is a better footballer than Ricky Lambert, that doesn't mean players like Ricky Lambert "are an anachronism".

He's not though. In any case we need central midfielders, at least a couple, and absolutely none of them should be Jack Colback.

Our justice system is hardly "far too lenient" like, just fucking backward.

fucking hell man, people don't want us signing shit like Jack Colback so we must be over the moon that Gosling has been getting games, like the 2 should be in any way linked. It's more the fact that in 4 years time there'll be a thread about us signing Jack Collison with people saying saying "Obviously a lot of people happy Colback has been getting games this season. Colback or Collison? Hmm, fucking tough choice that one." We don't need him, we'll need an instant replacement for him the moment he puts pen to paper. The two are linked as Colback is a massive improvement on gosling. It's quite simple really. So who do we get to replace gosling? Will xavi come sit on the bench for cover? Or does it have to be some French cunt no one has heard of who'll want away as soon as it gets tough or a better offer is thrown in front of his face? I've already explained earlier why I don't want us to sign Colback, however I'm not going to throw my toys out the pram should we do so like so many are prepared to do before he's even signed. This is fucking embarrassing man, cut it out. I want us to sign players who can push us on, not pointless stopgaps because they're free.

Lets just sign any cunt, who even cares anymore.

It means that we're sitting with a rubbish player (or a potentially OK player if you want to put it that way, fucking exciting like) on our books because we're too cheap to go out and buy proper replacements, whether they be for the first XI or for the bench. It's completely shit and exactly why we're fucking terrible. How people can brush it off as something we should just mention in passing is beyond me, we're talking about the recruits for next seasons Premiership squad ffs. Are you saying that if we don't sign Colback that means we aren't cheap and will buy proper replacements? No, hence why I never wrote anything remotely resembling that.
-
awful comparison on every level hans, albeit easy How is it awful? It's the same mentality from the people bringing the players in, quick fix to a problem that is only there as they've allowed to become one. Unless you can care to explain how Shola signing a new contract is in any way damaging to the club going by your logic, or do you not believe it is?

I'm guessing Free Jack Colback crew are also understanding about offering Shola a new contract too, aye? I mean he would be free, and we'd only moan that the squad was now even smaller and still with no replacements, yeah? In a way they can't win.
-
"Can't win really" They can though, they can sign players we actually need instead of wasting time of wankers like Jack Colback Just because he should be a fringe player doesn't mean he has to be fucking useless.
-
If we let Gosling go and nobody had come in by then you know for a fact people would be moaning that our squad was now even smaller and still no replacements. So fuck? How does Jack Coback change that in any way? We'd still be terrible.
-
Basically it's not so much as us just having a player on our books for no transfer fee, it's the continuation of our pathetic mindset that we feel the need to replace Dan Gosling, one of the worst footballers on our books, with Jack Colback.
-
It's just such a waste of time, he's an average player at best and a complete bellend to boot, sod rewarding him a contract at the club just because he's free. Sod Bedford. There's not much we can do really other than just being permanently miserable and show complete disdain towards every shit move the club makes, and signing Jack Colback is a shit move. A perverse move, unsurprisingly made by the same people who are going to offer Shola Ameobi a new contract.

"Grow a pair" What a fucking melon.
