  1. Probably sees him as some sort of lucky charm, like what the gypsies were doing to Warwick Davies.
  2. Ah fuck off man, horrible news this.
  3. This seasons form suits Taylor really as he's the kind of defender who will put his bollocks on the line for the side, something we've needed. I really hope we get a chance to see Mbiwa and Coloccini together next season though.
  4. This is fucking beautiful. Just praying he actually is fit this time.

It did look for a few weeks that we'd gotten the better deal with Gouffran like, pretty clear now though that Remy is a different class.
  6. I cannot help but like Mike and Dekka in a weird way, they have no shame.
  7. We were easily the best side from start to finish; Tiote was fucking immense.
  8. If he shows a bit of intelligence (I know) he could easily be in behind their defence if the away leg was anything to go by. I do think Jonas' link up play is far better though, but it rarely results in anything.
  9. Hmm, nice analysis, that stat doesn't make for pleasant reading though If anything I hope we don't just go out with a whimper; really hoping for a cracking game.
  10. He's done ok in European games previously. Aye in the group stages he had a couple of very good performances, he was absolutely horrific in the last European game he started though.
  11. If Benfica play an absurdly high line again Obertan may be of use. He has as much of a tendency to completely fuck counter attacks up as he does to help them like
  12. According to PhysioRoom Haidara is and Tiote is back for the derby.
  13. Eh? There's actual quotes of him saying "'I'd like to go back to Newcastle at some point, if the opportunity arises."
  14. It's good to always have a backup out there with a lot of potential, if anything.

To be fair i'm still 'puzzled as f*ck' that anyone could be so mind-numbingly stupid to do this, and to be proud of it 8 years later. 'Puzzled' must be the new 'Rattled'. That's the fucking footballing equivalent of "I know you are, you said you are, but what am I?"
  16. It depends how cautious we are tbh, our main weapon could be the atmosphere which will only get flatter and flatter the longer we go without some serious pressure.
  17. Agree, but the Damage is done for the Haters, they are not for turning. If he does that on thursday no one in their right mind will be complaining. there will be complainers still You're acting as if the "haters" haven't got a reason to hate though. I think it's perfectly reasonable to not be fully convinced by a man who has us in a relegation scrap
  18. Don't get me wrong I would love Pardew to do well here from this point forward, in spite of the amount of shite he speaks when under pressure he's a very tolerable manager on the whole and his passion is fantastic (see yesterday).
  19. I could say the same thing in return, only my beliefs stem from me wanting the club to be the best it can be where as yours seem to come from a willingness for Pardew to be the man who makes that happen.
  20. We still obviously lack something up top with Ben Arfa out but we weren't poor by any stretch of the imagination.
  21. Why would any defence stand like that though Hanson you twat?
  22. The gushing over that goal man from the panel
