  1. Cajun too. It's not as if Pardew (and indeed Obertan himself) don't know of his limitations, it's just counter-productive to boo the poor lad.

http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showpost.php?p=13232080&postcount=21 the shock. It's true though, Berbatov, if he has the hunger for it, would by by some distance the best player Sunderland have ever had.

There's no way that Sunderland will play the kind of football they would need for Berbatov to be effective.
  4. You would have to be utterly mental to have Defoe in your side over Suarez like.
  5. He's not even THAT good of a goalscorer. I mean he is good, but if a club like Tottenham want a poacher in the starting XI he has to be scoring more than he does.
  6. Yep, Andre, yous showed yous were the better team by losing 2-1.
  7. Lukaku actually looking like he can play football.
  8. It goes without saying like but I'm pretty much gay with excitement to see him again this season, it's not even just the lad's quality either, he's one of the most entertaining footballers to watch in the league, if not Europe. He's what I look forward too every match day more than anything else and I feel a crippling sadness when I don't see his name on the team sheet, regardless of the the rest of the squad. /homo
  9. I'm not worried at all about Bale v Simpson tbh
  10. Everton? They're one of the more likeable clubs in the Premiership imo, like City before they turned into a bunch of smug hypocritical arseholes. (LOVE ME NEIL)
  11. Tyson, has it never occurred to you to just create a snide Ryder account on twitter?
  12. It must be fucking odd being a Liverpool player like, they're so fucking weird (the fans). Even the mackems have a sense of normalness once you look past their bitter resentment of anything better than them, Liverpool though are just strange.
  13. Ashley's Sports Direct Arena marra. FTM
  14. This whole thing just makes no sense at all
  15. Shit like this man www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2012/aug/16/jessica-ennis-joey-barton-contrast-ghastly?newsfeed=true
  16. Why? We've got two decent strikers and we only usually play one up front. Like said yesterday the one key area we are still weak in the first 11 is right back (or left back if you move Santon to the right). I really believe two quality full backs could make a massive difference to our game. Papiss and Ba will be playing most games together, not rotated. With one or both occasionally out injured for periods (or going to the ACN), relying on a perpetually injured Shola as backup now that Best and Lovelypants have gone is just asking for trouble imho. Upgrading out rightback may be desirable, but if we don't, we have solid enough depth in those positions now. So you would rather improve the bench than the first team? righto I think we need a fullback more so than a striker, but not for this reason. Strikers and centre backs are difficult to replace if they are injured/suspended where as fullbacks are far easier to fill in with a temporary stopgap. We lose both Papis and Ba for any length of time and we're probably fucked.
  17. I don't think we'll rely on him, I just think he'll play a part in Europe or in the cups to keep others fresh for the league. People have read Chris' post wrong.
  18. Not that mental like, he could play a part in Europe.
