Maxwell Cornet would have scored 2 wonder goals per game. -
commentary forgetting we aren’t Liverpool there.

Aye I thought the iNews article had finished and didn't read where he got to the slightly unhinged part. Protests like this are pissing against the wind like, saying stuff like "We’re confident the majority of the fans are good people and don’t support the ownership" is mental, unless he's been misquoted, as it's pretty clear the vast, vast majority of Newcastle fans do support the ownership It also doesn't make them bad people. Dropping the aim of removing them from the club and focusing on educating the fanbase and applying pressure to change would be a good thing. At the end of the day most reasonable people would be horrified when thinking logically about these things, it's just hard not to go on the defensive given the way most of the muppets shouting 'sportwashing' go about it.

I'm sorry but it looks completely stupid when someone's like "here lads, I think we need to be aware of what these young lads are going through, I want to highlight it in the hopes we can make a change" and we're like "fuck off, UP THE TOON!!" It would be great if the takeover actually did promote positive changes to SA.

For some reason people have concocted up some narrative that paints him and his agent as subhuman scum He did nowt wrong and his comments after were respectful.

Sounds like he's not applying himself fully in training. If he's clarting about then he's a moron, as the only way this move made sense was if he turned up and put his all in to impress Galtier into giving him a contract Eddie will sort him out.

Should throw a 20m bid in for him when he goes back to Reims.

Villa have some dangerous players, and after the weekend Emery coming in and taming them might be a good thing (for us) in the short term tbh -

Villa also have a better squad than we did. He'll feel pretty confident he can push Villa on where as we looked completely fucked. -

Didn't Gerrard want to play attacking football with his wingbacks pushed right up? He was just shite and had to resort to whatever Villa are now? -

I was canny sick when Emery was the frontrunner like, I wanted that overtly offensive (Argentinian?) fella who's name I've completely forgot, and who probably would have been terrible. -
The ease in which he played a ball with the outside of his boot to the corner flag was impressive like, doesn’t look like he’ll have any issues slotting straight back into the CDM role.

Tottenham Hotspur 1-2 Newcastle United (23/10/2022)

The money argument is just one of a string of hypocritical or illogical things that just gets spouted out by everyone since the takeover. It was the reason we were good even when the only one’s playing in the side were Burn, Targett and Wood. -

I know it because I’ve seen them make odd decisions that only make sense from certain angles. The worst case being the foul on Willock in which they chose to show the referee the worst angle possible. In Italy (Juve) a goal was ruled offside because they missed an angle which showed the player clearly being on. There are examples every week of VAR being used horrifically yet I’m meant to give them the benefit of doubt that they adequately assessed Tottenham’s goal today? Aye nee botha. -

Literally happened multiple times this season already ffs -

They’re only looking at 2 angles when there’s clearly more. if they’re going to insist on micro-reviewing every goal then they need to do it right. -

Pretty sure there was an angle in the original replays where it was a clear touch like -
2-0, hopeful they get their bounce out their system today.

Like Hughton in his last few jobs?

We have the most money, are the best on the pitch, and are the biggest pull by a distance, it’s not even close since the takeover Thick, wannabe football hipsters cracking on about a clubs ancient history just look deranged. Winning trophies 50 years ago has absolutely no bearing on the current size of the club outside of extreme cases (such as Liverpool and Man Utd) where the clubs success is to the extent that it still has ramifications. It doesn’t matter like, just like Manchester City being a bigger club than us means absolutely nothing to me.

"Were you allowed on with that shirt?" "SHUT UP YOU SPORT WASHING, TERRORIST SUPPORTING, SAD GEORDIE BASTARD!"

It's such a shit 'comeback' to lie about that it's probably true tbh. The lad behind him was probably making a friendly joke though, only to be stunned into silence as the bloke turned round and called him a terrorist for some reason.
